A wonderful twist on the traditional vampire story. Ms. Wilson's way of writing brings the reader into the story. As the mystery of Emma's heritage unfolds, the reader is brought along the unexpected turns. Along the way, Ms. Wilson dispells long held beliefs. Ink Arnadine's astounding narration brings life to each and every character. Her voices entrance and transport the reader to a near first-hand account of the story. An amazing start to Emma's life as a newly turned vampire. The second book can not come out soon enough, and with Ink Arnadine's narration to breathe life into the story.
