Publisher's Summary

Vampire Dante Gabriel is starving. What he craves is red gold - human blood. After being held captive as a blood slave to a female vampire for years, he has finally escaped. Unchained at last, he follows his nose to the nearest blood bank to sate his hunger.

ER nurse Erin Hamilton expects just another busy night shift...until she finds a gorgeous stranger vandalizing the hospital blood bank. Though her logic tells her to turn him in, she’s pulled by stronger and unfamiliar emotions to protect the man who seems oddly infatuated with her scent. Chemistry sizzles between them, but Dante, plagued by nightmares of his time in captivity, fears he won’t be able to control himself...especially when he discovers a secret she doesn’t even know she’s hiding.

I keep waiting for it to get better but....

I'm going into pt 2 and I hope it becomes easier to listen to. There's no point. Just how honey Erin is for Dante. Nothing else goes on at ALL. Idc how hot Dante is... he is a total creeper. The last chapter and how he spoke to her ruined Dante for me I think forever. Erin too. Please get better! I want to like this. And it was really hard to listen to the narrators, especially the man. Ugh especially the man!

Ugh

This was a waste of time. I couldn’t get past the unrealistic decisions and reactions of the main characters in the first few chapters. There was no character build up, no real plot to speak of. I just had no interest to keep going. Maybe it gets better, but there are better books out there.

Boring and cheesy

I have no idea how this book at so many stars. The story is boring and very short. The author clearly put little into the story to try and make you feel forced to buy the next book to find out anything of substance. The voices were also very cheesy and hard to listen to.

Disappointed listener

Overall, the story line is shallow & lack substance. Performance, the male narrator was good but the female sounded mechanical. The story focused on the insta-love and sexual drive than anything worth listening to.

Blood Bond 1

Book 1 has an interesting beginning and the use of back flashes adds to the mystery.

Painful to listen to...

As others have written I really wanted to like this book, but nope. I’m in Chapter 5...I’ll be deleting this from my library, not desperate enough for a read to listen to this.

Enjoy the story, hate the narrator.

I like the premise on the vampires and Dante torment, did help with my curiosity. But the narrator just killed the story and mood whenever is Dante on the story. For me is a torture, I ended reading the Kindle edition.

not for me

needs to get over the sexual tension and tell a story. I could not get used to the narrator's either a really jarring difference between the two. honestly could not tell you what this book was about.

Couldn't get past the voice

could possible be good but the female narrator sound like an emotionless robot. I couldn't get past 2 chapters.
