Publisher's Summary

I was gifted as a slave-bride to an alien giant.

That's the start of my day. At least I have my guide dog, Kota, with me. I'd be lost without her...literally.

Yes. I'm blind.

And our new alien owner is kind enough that he's not holding me to the wife or slave deal even though that's what I was intended for. We've basically been dropped into a scene from Little House on the Alien Prairie, complete with his one-room cabin, and he's been the perfect gentleman. He's pretty great, and I'm actually starting to wish I could take him home with me.

He doesn't know it yet, but the threat of him going into "rut" is no longer a deterrent....

Contains mature themes.

Rather unique sci-fi romance

I enjoyed this audiobook very much. The heroine is a blind woman who was taken from Earth by slavers along with her guide dog. The hero is a trainer of some animal equivalent to horses and his friend buys him the heroine as a bride. He’s shocked, but very attracted to her. But when she says she wants to go home, he feels he must allow it due to his honor. As days go by she begins to fall for him. Can they come to a way to stay together? Narration was excellent.

Great story read by great people!!

If you haven’t already read Ms.Milo’s tales, I suggest you get to it lol. The actors (I think that’s what they’re called) were the same voices I heard while reading my kindle version of this tale. I’m rather lay awaiting more more MORE!!!

This one was definitely different and the other is in the series

So the book was interesting but The other books in the series had a darker theme I thought this one was a lot more cheerful. and for me I didn’t really like that The main female character was way too happy casual with the situation. I also really liked the narrator for the other books and was disappointed they changed the narrators. The other narrators were still good I just don’t know why they changed it.

Female narrator

I read this book on kindle first and loved it and decided to read an audio book of it. The sample had the male narration but not the female version. I have read many good narrations so I have high standards for how a narrator should create the emotions in the book. The female narration sounds over exaggerated and fake. She has a higher pitch voice that is much more upbeat which is not a bad thing but it’s not what I pictured for this female character. The male narrator is AMAZING tho. It fits very well.

Best book in the series.

This book was different to the others, with a more loving and slow build up to forming a loving relationship. Some funny parts and sassy parts as well.
