My people collected....

...all the bi-pedal inhabitants of a small blue planet in a galaxy that was quite a journey from our own star system.
Tender-skinned and intelligent, these new aliens make interesting pets. Fascinating, actually. And when the rest of the universe realizes this, everybody wants to own one.
Therefore, we need these new aliens to breed.
It’s my job to assist the aliens in reproducing...by whatever means I deem necessary.

Note: This is a 20K short story gothic horror-ish/science fiction romance. This is a deviation from my other stories, ie, pretty absent of humor. Trigger warnings for those who could be triggered by triggerish material. 18+.

Interesting and disturbing

The storyline was interesting; however, was a bit disturbing also if picturing one in this situation. The narrator did a great job with narration; it would have been great if language was understood but it did not take away from the story. Just the right length. It would have also been more interesting if epilogue presented the pet’s (human) viewpoint.

it's sooo good I promise. it's human on human. It's like a alien owning humans as pets. Just do it bro!!!

It's a $3.99 novel. Take it for what it is.

I tip my hat to Amanda Milo for putting a great deal of effort into trying to create something new. It almost achieves something, but somehow doesn't quite reach it . And has a tendency to stray into some slightly archaic opinions on gender assigned roles by the end. However, you can definitely tell that the author put a lot of her heart into vreating the story and its characters, and I definitely respect her for that.

whimsical and fun

luckily this is fiction -and it's fun fiction! a scientific breeding program for the nearly extinct humankind. there's some triggers for some, I'm sure, but I enjoyed all this series

Fun listen

This is definitely different than the typical romance. I really enjoyed this story. I wish there were more Manada Milo books available on Audible. I also wish that the covers weren't so explicit. It's awful if my kids see the picture on my phone.

Fun Story

I love thought and perspective bending stories like this. Worth the $5 even if it is a short listen.

Very short, but enjoyable

Sure, this is very short. Sure, the plot is pretty simple. Sure, there's no explanation of why humans are so rare in the greater universe - why they would be hard to come by when there are billions of them on their homeworld.

But it's a simple little enjoyable story, assuming it's fun to think of a human woman being kept naked as a pet for an alien scientist.

Surprisingly lovely

I was worried this was going to be all about one thing, gratefully mistaken.
