Love Christian Black & he was perfect for Austin. He shows Austin’s badass and protectiveness. It was truly beautiful how he was brought to life. Laurie was ok for Lelani.
This is the seventh book in The Kings Of Retribution MC series. Austin was a prospect in the beginning of this series. He finally has his full patch. While the Kings are down in Louisiana helping Riggs, they come across Lelani (who was in the process of being sold along with Novas daughter, Piper). Lelani decided to run from home (from her mafia family because they wanted her to marry an older man who was an abusive dead beat). She thought her brother was helping her but he SOLD her. She’s legally blind. Once Austin sees her, he becomes very protective and wants her to come home to Montana with him. Eventually, the club finds out who she truly is and her mafia family comes for her along with Graces ex-husband’s brother.

Did not disappoint! Enjoyed this story just as much as I did the earlier books in the series. I love that all the characters are still in the book, the plot was creative and held my attention, I adored the romance between the main characters. The narration was not the best I've heard, but not the worst either. Like any of the other books, I wish it were longer, sad this story ended. This author has definitely become a favorite.

Amazing

A definite page turner that will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. Austin and Lelani are remarkably spellbinding. Austin is everything a man should be and the lucky lady that gets to bask in his attention is Lelani. I found myself completely enamored with the beautiful family dynamics. I loved everything about this electrifying story. This audiobook is phenomenal. The narrator’s did a fantastic job bring this amazing story to life.

I have to smh with this motorcycle club. Who sends one member out with his old lady to check on things by themselves when mafia is after said old lady and already ambushed them once. Plus, h is blind and she gets out of the vehicle she was told to stay put in for her safety while her man checks out (by himself, eyeroll) the alarm system at their motorcycle repair shop where of course, crap happens, so the blind heroine gets out of the vehicle to check things out, like she could do anything bc she's BLIND... it was ridiculous. I've read every book in this series and I swear you'd think they'd learn to keep their old ladies safe, but nope, somehow in each story the h is either tstl or they allow themselves to get ambushed or miscalculated the risk. I still recommend this series and this book, but it will give your eyeballs a workout.
