Worst Book Ever- Waste of a Credit

Would you try another book from Vanessa Griggs and/or Caroline Clay?

Based on my experience with this book, I don't think that I'll be trying another book from Vanessa Griggs.

What could Vanessa Griggs have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The headings or scritpures that were read before each chapter began could've been left out. Also, she could have included more details on what happened with Johnny May's mother, Pastor Landriss's brother, Charity(Faith and Hope), and the other ministers that were set out for Pastor Landriss's demise. There were too many gaps.

What does Caroline Clay bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Caroline Clay is a great reader. She gives each character so much feeling and distinction. I love anything she reads.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Blessed Trinity?

I think I would have cut out the beginning where they were at the anniversary celebration. It was too confusing beginning in the middle only to go backwards. I would also elaborate more on Johnny May's sister Rachel and her other house along with the radio station. Did Pastor Landriss get his money back? Did the guy serve jail time? What happened?

Any additional comments?

This was a waste of a credit. I was disappointed from beginning to end and I would like to get my credit back so that I may purchase a book that I will enjoy.

If you could sum up Blessed Trinity in three words, what would they be?

God is good!!

What other book might you compare Blessed Trinity to and why?

Blessed Trinity is my first book by Vanessa Griggs and now I plan to get every one in this series. I thoroughly enjoyed her Godly characters, the story line and how they dealt with worldly problems by holding on to their faith. I must admit, I am hooked and will be purchasing anything she writes.

Have you listened to any of Caroline Clay’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I am a newby to audible books but I thoroughly enjoyed Caroline's reading!

Who was the most memorable character of Blessed Trinity and why?

Johnnie Mae was the most memorable charactor for me because she was so well rounded and yet her center was grounded in God!

I liked the book

The book is very well written. The inclusion of Chapter and verse shows how they are used in daily situations .

Moved so slowly

Four stars because great story. Lost a star beginning scriptures were a distractions. Narrator is phenomenal.

Blessed Trinity

To me the story drug on to long before we realized that we were dealing with multiple personalities. Other than that it was ok!

It seems there are a lot of stories but no ending to them!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Good

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment I am not sure if it ended or not.

I find myself going back to find the storyline that I obviously missed.

you just cannot stop listening the word comes up so vivid it's almost like you're in church with a story to go with it.

The three sisters Faith Hope & Charity made this enjoyable!

Well I did have problems with understanding why the three sisters never attended church together.
