Owens explains that government assistance is a double-edged sword, that the left dismisses the faith so important to the Black community, that Democrat permissiveness toward abortion disproportionately affects Black babies, that the #MeToo movement hurts Black men, and much more. Weaving in her personal story, which ushered her from a roach-infested low-income apartment to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, she demonstrates how she overcame her setbacks and challenges despite the cultural expectation that she should embrace a victim mentality.

I thought I was a Democrat until now.

She hits every topic on the head. I see my self as Democrat and only downloaded to see what the other side has to say. I was blown away. Everything she said I wonder why I haven’t ever heard of this before. A great listen.

A Contemporary Masterpiece!

Candace covers a wide range of topics and uses logic, reasoning, statistics and personal and public Accounts that will rock some people's worldview and will challenge conservatives to continue the struggle. It is very thought-provoking, very well written, and should be studied and discussed by all.

Full of facts!

I loved this book; first audiobook for me, ever. I plan to actually buy this book in print so that I can highlight facts and other truths. I highly recommend this to people on both sides of the political spectrum.

Such a powerful message, everyone should take the time to read this book. I was blown away by the authentic message Mrs. Owens gives throughout the chapters. May Blackout thrive and flourish throughout our communities, may her message be heard and received by millions.

Simply amazing

I have never been someone who really cared for or paid attention to politics, yet I will say you have open my eyes to a lot of things that I never knew about the government, politics, being president, our history as a Black people, and so much more. This book definitely is a must read for anyone who wants to learn about Democrats, Republicans, left parties, right party, and all those in between. The Truth told plainly

Owen's is either Americas favorite or least favorite person depending on what party you align with. What one can not deny is the truth she tells, the ease at which she writes a great book, or her desire to help black americans recognize their true potential. Highly recommend !!

Must Read!

Loved this book! I learned so much! I'm a big fan of Candace Owens. I just recently discovered her and bought her book as soon as I learned about it. Her attention to detail and her historic and personal references make for a great read and a very persuasively written book. I loved the forward by Larry Elder and really loved hearing this spoken by Candace!
