Exciting adventure across Europe

This series of books are wonderful with mixing history and fantasy. With Simon's voice added into it just makes the characters come that much more to life.

The stories are fun as well as thought provoking, the characters well drawn and again Simon Vance. Nothing else needs to be said.

Interesting to see where the story goes based on historical Napoleonic record. Looking forward to the next chapters.

It gets a bit long in the descriptions, but I really enjoyed the story. Makes me want a dragon of my own.

This is my favorite book in the series. Excellent story line, as always. The edition of Iskerica is brilliant!

Favorite Dragon Book Series

This series is my number 1 referal. I heard that the movie rights have been purchased for this book already. cant wait!!

Good, but lacks plot.

Not much of a story here, but the characters are lovable enough to carry it.

The whole series makes great listening

I just finished the fourth and am about to get the fifth. I've been listening to them back-to-back, something I don't usually do for this long a series of books. I'm waiting to see what Tremaraire and Will Laurence will get up to (and into) next. All of the characters - human and dragon alike - are complex and well written. The battle scenes are great and the Napoleonic wars have never been so interesting! Adding to all of it is Simon Vance's exemplary narration. He makes me happy to be listening to, rather than reading, these books. Well done!
