Great Series!
I have been loving this series! Cant put it down for the life of me. The narrators are superb. I do wish it was longer- It felt like MMC went from pure hatred to love, without anything in between. I was missing that middle part where the MMC usually starts to redeem himself but he didn’t really do that, he was really rude to her and it seemed like he was only interested in her for the thing he gets from her.. he even said she was unattractive. Regardless, I can’t wait for the third book and I really enjoyed learning about the new MMC and FMC at the end.

The Battle that changes everything!
I loved the Penelope has great vision in giving us a story filled with passion, love, turmoil.
What happens next can seal the fate of the two brothers.
will it be peace, love or hatred and vengeance. As we wait for Bite the Power that feeds to see all that was not completed in book 2.
will the brothers hear from Aurelais? What happens between Cobra and Clara?
Will the cure ever get to the Kingdoms?
Michael and Ramona did a fantastic job narrating this story.

Continuing the story of Larissa and Kingsnake wow! And now we had the story of Cobra

And things are just getting interesting....
4.25 Stars 🌟
This has been the nice surprise series of my week. I wasn't really sure what to expect with the first book, but it definitely peaked my interest and kept my attention. The second book did more of the same. I am enjoying getting to better understand Kingsnake and trying to figure out the familial relations with this bunch.
On a side note, this is written in the same world as another of her series (can't think of the name at this particular moment) and I was trying desperately in my mind to remember the particulars of the circumstances where things were left. I remembered The Teeth, (sort of) but it was frustrating for me that I KNEW that I knew more information, but couldn't bring it forward in my mind. I'm probably going to go back and reread my reviews from that series before the next book so I can feel a little better equipped. Unfortunately, when you read 400 + books a year, sometimes you lose the details of some of them.
Another winner. I was pleasantly surprised by Aurelias in this one and Cobra and Viper are definitely growing on me. Can't wait to see what is going to happen next.
