Honey Badger & Bear/Tiger who gets the honey?

A good addition to the series. A bit more serious than most of the books, otherwise similar to the other books which is funny and full of fun loving shifters. Livvy and Vic make a cute couple and as usual many of the other shifters from the other books make appearances and make quite a ruckus. Shelly Laurenston is AKA G.A. Aiken which I plan on reading/ listening to as soon as Audible gets the whole series out. As usual the narrator brings out the characters from this book.

Not my favorite, but still worth the credit

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would have had more romance/interaction between Livy and Vic, and less violence. It's a good-sized book so I sometimes lost the thread of the romance amongst the rest of the story. (Since I do most of my listening at work, part of that lost thread could be my distraction and no fault of SL.)

Any additional comments?

I'll definitely listen to this again as I have almost all of the other books in this series. I love listening to my favorite series over and over again. If I do miss something one time, I'm sure to catch it the next.

Crazy Funny strong women

Finished all 9 books in series.
Storytelling by the narrator adds a new lo level of enjoyment to the whole series.
Personalities of characters are well defined and complex.
HEA yes but how you get there is wildly entertaining.

I love this series

This is one awesome, amazing, funny series and I am sad this is the last book so far I really really hope there will be more Pride series book. I want to say Ms Laurenston is an amazing author who puts every ethnicity in her book, most romance novels by popular authors only write about really white Caucasian girls and guys but I love how her books have Asians, African Americans thank you!

Great characters

One of my favorite books. Livie is snarky and take no prisoner kind of artist going through a creative block, a brilliant photographer who is "reduced" to taking pictures of sports stars. Then her father is murdered. She must bring together her felonious family to find the one responsible and get revenge. Throughout the book are many great characters with distinct and entertaining personalities including a emotionally and mentally unstable cousin with a drinking problem, Blain the over eager wolfdog and Livie's mother who has never forgiven her for telling the clerk at the candy store he gave Livie to much change back as a child. If you like your romance with out sap but with strong independent women, humor and a bit of snark, check this one out.

The Worst...

This Series should have ended at #7. This book was too long & Livy along with her bestie, Toni from # 8 spent most of the book disrespecting everybody.

My least favorite in a great series

If you have ANY issues with snakes you may want to avoid this one. I respect and like snakes and still for me there was one super gross scene. This is my least favorite in the series which is a bummer way to end listening to 9 books in a row. I enjoyed the supporting characters I have come to love more than the main couple or the new folks introduced. I felt the romance got lost in the larger storytelling. It did, however, close up the big over arcing story nicely while leaving an open story for the next one.
As with the whole series, the narration is fantastic. It is still a worthwhile listen but I am very glad this was not the first one in the series. I confess I was wanting some honey after finishing the book. : )
