Publisher's summary

"Stay out of that guy. He's mad". "He's sick and tired of hearing other people's words?"

Probably, those who have bipolar disorder, or who may know someone who is going through this illness, are just trying to keep their temper.

It's kind of funny, because it's one of the that mistakes people make when they learn this kind of mental condition.

The fact is, having a bipolar disorder doesn't make a person insane.

He's probably going through some so-called "mood swings" where he can be in a pretty good mood, and then he quickly gets really upset and discouraged.

He just wants some kind of tender love and care, but really, who doesn't?

Extreme hysteria is very different from bipolar disorder.

While some people accept that there is no more hope and remedy for the former, the latter can be resolved, but it doesn't necessarily mean that one has to take those drugs every single day.

Who would want to do that anyway?

It can only make them sicker, or it can make them feel that they really are capable of leading to worse events.

Unlike depression and other serious illnesses, bipolar disorder affects millions of people around the world, including parents, partners, family members, friends and coworkers.

The shocking truth is that one in 50 of us suffers from Bipolar Disorder. Whether you, a friend or family member, are diagnosed with Bipolar, or if you think that someone you know might have Bipolar, this audiobook is a great first call point for advice and support.

The audiobook includes validated tips and methods on how to identify signs of bipolar disorder, a number of solutions to treat symptoms from diet to licensed clinicians and support group assistance, and how to recognize and predict the signs of an oncoming bipolar episode. This audiobook was designed to answer all your questions.

for anyone struggling.

helped me. helped me make sense of and understand what is happening to me. helped me figure out how to handle it.. and the stories at the end make me feel less alone. I wish this is a book I would have read ten years ago.

Thank you

I am so grateful for your book. I’m recently diagnosed as BP1 and knew nothing about my new friend until I scrambled on and got your book. It was so helpful!

Great listen

really like how this book was wrote, favorite part is the storys from people at the end of the book. start to finish it was great but I feel like a lot of books are lacking in that aspect. would definitely recommend this to someone struggling with bipolar, definitely helped me to understand it better and will be great having a different perspective on things when I see my doc for the first time.

Disorganized

this book never stays in a straight line. It continues to loop around back to an original thought and it sounds like it's just repeating itself. It does not get in-depth in the information it is very superficial and non-informative.

good content. just repetitive

I got about halfway through the book and was having a hard time wanting to listen to it.. The content is good but as somebody who lives with bipolar disorder a lot of it. I already knew. You're the first few chapters. it started becoming really repetitive. I'm glad I listened to the whole thing because there were some new facts and things like that throughout the last few chapters that were neat to listen to, but a lot of the content was the same over and over. It was good content but I think could have been shortened into just a couple of chapters instead of a whole book.
