Wow!!! Excellent story!!! Wonderful Narration!!!

Billionaire Unexpected, an Audiobook by J.S. Scott was INCREDIBLE!!!! It is the gut-wrenching story of Jax and Harlow. She is a geoscientist who was recently rescued from a horrible ordeal. She ‘seems’ to be OK….but, her boss, Jax…can tell that she isn’t. He helps her claw her way out of the depths of fear..I LOVED Jax…and I felt so deeply for Harlow!!!

This story was narrated by Elizabeth Powers and Jacob Morgan. These two performed this story beautifully!!!! Every nuance was perfect…they are a wonderful duo!!!! They did an excellent job with a phenomenal story!!!

I loved it!

While working for Montgomery Mining Harlow is kidnapped and goes through a horrible experience. After being rescued by Montgomery Brothers, Hudson and Jackson, Harlow has a hard time getting back to living her life. Jackson steps up and does everything he can to help Harlow get back to her old self; during the process life changes for both of them.

I was really looking forward to Jackson and Harlow’s story after reading Hudson and Taylor’s book. This one doesn’t disappoint. Ms. Scott does what she does best and that is to write a great romance that has the reader believing in happy ever after. It was so heartbreaking to go with Harlow on her journey to get back to the person she was before the incident of being kidnapped but it was worth it. Jackson had been attracted to her 2 years before and asked her out. She turned him down but when he steps up to acquire all the resources to help Harlow, she sees him as a different man than the one she thought she had figured out. It was lovely to go with this couple as they learned what love could really be like.

Elizabeth Powers and Jacob Morgan did a really good job narrating this book. It makes the story come alive being able to listen to someone reading it out loud.

Totally recommend this book!

Billionaire Unexpected Jax and Harlow

A great performance by Elizabeth Powers and Jacob Morgan. Great story in this series!

Loved it!

Loved Jax and Harlow’s love story. All the things that Jax does that few know about him makes his character great. Loved how he used his own experiences to help Harlow while falling in love. Love J.S. Scott books.

Predictably boring. Poor characters.

The characters in the book are predictable and boring. The leading female is weak and wushu washy. Why hasn’t he called me? Should I call him? Give me a break. I stopped after about five chapters. Couldn’t take her whiny self talk anymore.

Helps to put you to sleep

I couldn’t stay awake when listening to this book. Not with the credit. It was. Night to put me to sleep but don’t drive while listening or better don’t listen. The narrators were amazing and kept me listening. I skipped a lot of the book because it was so boring with weak characters. It is a nice story for this of you who like nice. The male character is weak for me.

Love it book, love the storyline, liked Elizabeth Powers but did not like Jacob Morgan reading

Ahh, what an enchanting story between two people who went from employee/employer to friends to lovers. The road was far from easy. Harlow has been through he**, rescued but still living the nightmare. Jax decides to he needs to help her, to help her back to her life and the person she was before. Through that, while Harlow finds her way back to herself, she also finds all the ways that Jax is an incredible person, with a heart of gold and an amazing all around person. Jax, who always felt a connection to Harlow, can’t help his feeling getting even stronger for her the stronger she gets. Their feelings, when they both finally give in, is exhilarating. I totally loved their story ❤️ And I most definitely loved listening to Jacob Morgan as Jax. So much sexier if possible. And Elizabeth Powers does an awesome job as Harlow. You get lost listening to them. I can’t wait for Cooper’s next!

Charming and Sexy

Jax and Harlow’s story is powerful, passionate, and sweet. When Jax learns that Harlow is still struggling a lot from her foreign kidnapping, he knows he’s the only one stubborn enough to help her get through it. An even though he’s attracted to her, she turned him down two years ago, so he is sure he can keeps things as her adviser as platonic as possible. Yeah right 😂 The only reason Harlow turned him down two years ago was because of his playboy, one and done reputation. But as the two get to know each other better, and she digs herself out of her anxiety and depression, she realizes that there is much more to him that’s his reputation would imply.

The back and forth between them is really great. They develop a true friendship while working through her issues, and it’s really a nice, natural evolution into something more. Very enjoyable story, with lots of steam to add to the mix.

Great easy listen!

I have enjoyed all the Billionaire’s Obsession books and this one was just as good. Jax is one of the Montgomery brothers and Harlow’s boss. This book is best read/listened to after finishing Billionaire Undercover:Hudson in order to get the full picture in Harlow. This is a low angst, medium steam, quick listen with the HEA I always want from a romance novel. Elizabeth Powers and Jacob Morgan are great and make this a very satisfying listen.

Great Read

Billionaire Unexpected~Jax (The Billionaire's Obsession #16) was a great read by J.S. Scott. Dr Harlow Lewis is finally a research geoscientist who is employed at Montgomery Mining Laboratories. Unfortunately she finds herself in a nine day horrific hostage situation. The only person that notices her struggle after the hostage situation was Jaxton Montgomery. Although Harlow tried fighting the attraction it wasn't easy for her to do. I really enjoyed Harlow and Jaxton's story and can't wait to read more by the author.

Jax and Harlow!

Although it has been a couple of years the after effects of being abducted and held prisoner still haunt Harlow but she knows how lucky she was to escape with her life as her boyfriend’s fate was much more dire. She has decided that the best way to heal is to assist the organization that was there for her when she needed someone the most and that means letting Jax support her through the painful days ahead.

Jax is one of the owners of the company where Harlow works. He has been attracted to her for a few years but his reputation with woman has ensured that she would never consider him as more than his boss. He hopes that if they get to know one another personally he will not only help her heal but show her that there is much more to the man than his reputation.

Jax is so patient and understanding while Harlow’s strength and resilience shines through. The characters are compelling, their romance captivating and the emotional pull of the story makes it the complete package. I enjoyed the pacing and cadence of the narrators as they draw you into the characters and their story.

Took my Heart

Brilliant dual narration. Jacob Morgan and Elizabeth Powers, both perfect for this book. I could see and hear the characters.

We meet Harlow and Jax in Billionaire Undercover and this is a brilliant story of their journey.
And what a journey. After being rescued from kidnappers Harlow is struggling and is feeling very alone and lost.
Jax gently heart and large kind nature , slowly helps her heal.
These two are wonderful characters, who you will fall in love with. A wonderful story .

Fantastic book

Book 16 in Billionaire Obsession (Montgomery family)
Jax is one of the brothers of Montgomery mining and a playboy. He’s also part of last hope a ex military group that rescue people from awful situations. Harlow is part of Montgomery mining geoscience team that went to a foreign country that was possibly going to be mined with her not serious boyfriend Mark and assistant who also works in the field. While there Harlow and her assistant was kidnapped and Mark was killed straight away.
Jax becomes Harlow ptsd advocate from Last Hope. I love that you start the book with a clear idea of Jax’s character but he’s got so much more to give.
I really enjoyed this book that carries on from previous book but did enjoy previous one more but said that J. S. Scott still does a great job. Especially with such a long series some books are better then others but still hold its own.
I listen to the audiobook and absolutely love the narrators Elizabeth Powers and Jacob Morgan. They do a fantastic job.

Thoroughly enjoyed

Sweet story, Jax and Harlow were perfect for each other. I have enjoyed this series right from the start (although can be read as a standalone), I do like having a male narrator now too, although Elizabeth Powers is a fantastic narrator and that's no different in this book. I'm not normally a big Jacob Morgan fan (I know, I know!!) but I did enjoy his narration in this book. Would recommend if your looking for a book with a sweet, easy listen story with a wonderful HEA.

This is 16th in the series, but can also be listened to as a stand alone.
I was glad however I had read the others before as it was great to get updates on the characters, especially Hudson and Taylor.

Jax and Harlow are a great couple who really bring out the best in eachother.
despite the horrible circumstances that bring them together something magical grows between them.
Another brilliant audiobook from J.S Scott with great naration.
