Story
We all have a longing to be significant. We want to make a contribution, to be a part of something noble and purposeful. But many people wrongly believe significance is unattainable. They worry that it's too big for them to achieve. That they have to have an amazing idea, be a certain age, have a lot of money, or be powerful or famous to make a real difference. The good news is that none of those things is necessary for you to achieve significance and create a lasting legacy.

Every person has been designed by God for one-of-a-kind "Masterpiece Mission", what most people refer to as personal calling or personal purpose. Everyone needs to be able to name what God has put them on the earth to do. Most people never do. That is a tragedy of epic proportions. The Find Your Place book will help followers of Jesus locate three signals that will help people discern their personal calling: their gifts, their passions, and their story, and help them take meaningful next steps to engage that calling.

Prosperity. It's one of the most dividing words in the church. Some pastors use it to tell their congregations that God will make them all rich, rich, rich! Others spurn the word and insist that true Christlikeness is found in forsaking all worldly riches and possessions. The truth is, both are right - and both are wrong. With refreshing honesty, humor, and keen insight, best-selling author and pastor Kris Vallotton mines the Scriptures in an eye-opening study of what the Bible really says about money, poverty, riches, and wealth.

What if I told you that you were only one step away from unlocking new levels of maturity and growth in your church? The myth of the silver bullet still exists because we desperately want it to. We all prefer quick fixes and bandage solutions to the long, hard, slow work that produces real change. What if the solution isn't a new model or a complicated strategy but a shift in perspective? What if you could keep your church's current vision, values, and model and simply make a few microshifts...leading to macrochanges?

The notion that labor for profit and worship of God are now, and always have been, worlds apart is patently false. The early Church founders were mostly community leaders and highly successful businesspeople. In this expanded version of the best-selling Anointed for Business, Ed Silvoso focuses on the heart of our cities, which is the marketplace. Yet the perceived wall between commercial pursuit and service to God continues to be a barrier to advancing his kingdom. Silvoso shows Christians how to knock down that wall.

When Jesus gave his disciples the Great Commission, he revealed that the key for reaching the world with the Gospel is found in sending, not gathering. Though many churches focus time and energy on attracting people and counting numbers, the real mission of the church isn't how many people you can gather.

What is there about a dying church that brings glory to God? Mark Clifton's convicting answer is "nothing". Because a local church is intended to represent the work of God in a community, when that church "loses it saltiness", not only is God's work pictured as irrelevant in that community, but also dishonor and disrepute may well become associated with God's name as a result.

Truly Amazing! A must read!
This book will change the trajectory of your life and the way you think about doing business and living life. Lonnie explains in so many ways and so eloquently the potential for impact we can have as leaders in this world. The potential for impact is much greater than we could ever imagine. Lonnie’s book will give you a whole new paradigm shift in how you think about yourself and the platform God has given you in life to create change in this world right where you are. You do not have to become a pastor to impact lives. In fact, we have greater potential for change right where we are in the market place day to day. This of course is not to diminish the huge impact our great pastors are having around the world. Reading this book will change your whole perspective in your day to day walk in the market place.

Total game changer
This book will challenge your conventional understanding of not only your business — but also your life’s purpose. It helps unlock your personal potential to impact your community.
This is not a superficial analysis, nor a modest attempt to “tweak” some aspect of your business. It is a total paradigm shift and offers a vision where business owners can leverage their businesses for the greater good.
I highly recommended this book for any entrepreneur, and especially those who want to leave a positive legacy.

Fascinating Case for the Role of Business & Faith
I was surprised by how much I loved this book and couldn't put it down.
As someone who works in the field of impact investing and also leads a church I'm personally very interested in the intersection of faith and business. I’ve heard most of the various positions on running socially responsible businesses and on Christian based business concepts. But Beyond Business taught me many new things and like any great book it defied easy classification. I did try to categorize the book, ready to dismiss it. Was it the prosperity gospel? No. Was it conscious capitalism? No. Was it exclusive Christian propaganda shaming other worldviews? No. I stopped trying to dismiss the author and found myself learning a lot.
With a theological degree from Harvard and a career in social business, I was humbled by the author's expertise and teaching. The author makes a very strong and controversial case throughout the book that business plays a critical role in serving humanity. And this service to humanity through business is at the core of God’s ideal plan to make this world a better place and was actually the direct message of Jesus. In fact, he argues that a lifestyle serving others through business is the true church, not a nice stone building you visit each week. The author backs up his proposition with very specific examples that make his argument quite compelling. This is a must-read for anyone interested in entrepreneurism with deep purpose and the natural intersection of business, impact, and faith.
I’ve already given out copies to other leaders in this space.

Story
While many churches talk about discerning calling and engaging in mission, very few are structured to make this their ministry focus. Underground Church is a new vision for the church rooted in its biblical mission to share the love of God and serve the poor. Sanders explores how to make structural changes, how to think about leadership, how to fund ministries, and how to truly engage people in God's mission. Filled with creative insights, he explains what it means to center the mission of the church around the callings of individuals to outward ministry.
