Publisher's Summary

A supernatural force on the loose in San Francisco and a family reunion keep witch and vintage storeowner Lily Ivory on her toes as she prepares to walk down the aisle....

When Lily Ivory stumbles on the uniform of a former prisoner from Alcatraz and SFPD inspector Carlos Romero's cousin is kidnapped, Lily suspects something dangerous has been unleashed on the ghost-ridden island of Alcatraz. She'll have to sleuth out the culprit - when she's not busy entertaining her visiting relatives and resolving romantic conflicts as her wedding date approaches. Could recent omens be pointing to the magical threat in her adopted city? If so, she'll have to line up her allies to change the fate of the Bay Area. Because no matter what, Lily's determined to celebrate her marriage with her friends by her side - even if it means battling a demonic foe before she can make it to the altar.

A prophecy met!

Since Lily Ivory arrived in San Francisco, she and the town have been plagued with mystic mayhem and demonic intrusions. Now the prophecy is barring forward sucking Lily towards the bay. Can she save herself, her friends and San Francisco while battling an old nemesis?
A great listen, I have already been through it twice since it was released 5 days ago!

Very Good

I have listened to all of the books in this series and have enjoyed them all. The characters grow and develop in each book. The mystery is always well written and flows at a good pace. This book is no different. Action begins early on in the book and it doesn't slow down. As in the other books of this series, Lily is able to get to the heart of the matter and save San Francisco. The down to earth characters makes this series engaging. The characters are believable. Even though it is ultimately Lily who must save the day, she always has help and she doesn't take anyone for granted. This is a great series. I hope there will be more books in the future.

Another Awesome Adventure with Lily!

I loved seeing more of Lily’s growth in Bewitched & Betrothed. She has come so far in the series and it’s wonderful to see that she — and many of those around her — still have far in their journeys to go. Xe’s narration was perfection, as always. I can’t wait for more.

One of my favorite series!

I usually get bored with series that go beyond 5 books, but this one is so delightful, I could keep going. I've been anxiously awaiting this book, and I hope there will be more to come!
Lily Ivory and all her friends are quirky, wonderful characters, and totally believable as real people you would meet in San Francisco. The combination of crime solving, magic, mythical beings and a touch of romance makes these stories my ideal read. I've also decided that Xe Sands is one of my favorite narrators. I love her voice and the rhythm in which she reads.

Great Series!

I am sad now that I have to wait a year for the next book. As always, Oscar is my favorite.

Losing interest.

I loved this series so much at the beginning, but these last couple have just been “okay” for me. I still like the characters, but the mystery isn’t enough to carry my interest when there isn’t much happening with the characters.
