Publisher's summary

The Winchester witches are at it again, and this time the stakes are higher than ever.Go along with Bay, Thistle, Clove, Aunt Tillie and the rest of the Winchester family (and their friends, of course) as they take on human traffickers, an angry poltergeist and a murderous bank robber.

You’ll finally get a chance to meet their fathers, Landon’s family, and find out if Clove will ever get lucky in love. That’s on top of the usual family hijinks, and Aunt Tillie’s irrepressible wrath – which can never fully be contained.

This omnibus includes books 4-6 in the Wicked Witches of the Midwest series: Witching on a Star, Something to Witch About and Witch Me Luck.

SA: Aunt Tilly wins the pool!

Okay, this isn't Tolstoy. It is a sweet cozy mystery which (witch?) is all about fun. I read for fun, Racheal Maddow reads for enlightenment. I love Rachael, but I read Amanda.

Wont buy.

I’m disappointed with the reviews on books 7-9. I would love to continue with this series but a bad narrator can ruin a book. Guess I’ll move along to something else. Let me know if a good narrator ever re does the next series.

Why did they change Narrators!

I love Aris! Why did they change to the Jersey woman voice in book 8!? Be warned you’ll fall in love and disappointed on book 8 😩😩

Landon needs to chill

I first came upon this series while listening to 'A Two Broomsticks Gas and Grill Witch Cozy Mystery' where the Winchester women make a crossover into that storyline. I loved the Two Broomstick series so much that I promptly purchased the first book set of this series, however, I'm sorry to say that I am done with this series after this second book set.. Landon is extremely annoying and seems to worsen throughout the series. He is very controlling, bossy, arrogant, and kind of manipulative. I find the way he talks to Bay and her family appalling. He is constantly yelling at Bay and questing her decisions. It's very odd because I did not feel this way at all with his character in the Two Broomsticks series; perhaps his character developed more?? That may be the case but I cannot stand him and continue on.

These books and the whole series are alot of fun

I don't think I am the normal audience for these books, being a 60 year old male, but I got interested the the Cozy Paranormals during the pandemic when there were many free ones on Youtube. These are a lot of fun, Aunt Tillie is a hoot, and the Bacon fetish is hilarious. With Edith's racist opinions, you would think she was a Florida politician. Anyway, the books are well worth the read if you're looking for something light and fun. Also, check out the Aisling Grimlock, and Moonstone Bay series by the same author they are all great and a lot of fun

Please get a new narrator

These books could be sooooo much better if the narrator didn’t sound like a middle school child reading from her older siblings diary. She wines and makes everyone sounds so bitchy.
It took everything in me not to return these books due to the lack of voice acting

Fun story, but mispronunciations are distracting

The story is great, and I love the world the writer has created. That said, there are a few words the narrator pronounces incorrectly. It is not an accent or regional pronunciation, it’s just an eye-twitchingly wrong pronunciation. Vehemently specifically is just butchered. It is jarring and pulls you out of the story.

Fun, but..

These stories are great and I love the characters, however, in the last story, the character of Landon becomes cringey possessive. Not a good guy character at all. I will however continue to listen to these books because the other characters outweigh the cringe and the story lines are awesome.

Tired

I love this series, and will buy more, but...there are a couple of things of which i am TRULY tired. Clove's incessant whinning and Landon's increasing chauvanisim (even though I may not be spelling it correctly)! I mean, REALLY? Does Clove have a cut and paste diatribe for every book? What is up with Bay putting up with Landon's bossiness? Why does he get to be the one yelling at every member of Bay's family? Bay is portrayed as a strong independent woman and still cannot voice her own stance? What is this 1970?

Easy listening, fun story.

I have listened to 6 of the series and love the fact that they're not heavy concentration stories. The characters are humorous and light, the only person I find grating is Landon, he's the main male character but errs on the side of arrogance and every other sentence refers to his and Bays bedroom activity, we've got the point and don't need to be reminded so frequently, give me Thistle and her boyfriend anytime!! Otherwise a nice cosy mystery and I'll be listening to more.
