Publisher's summary

"I looked between the monster and the girl, and I wasn’t sure which one I was."

Isabelle Berger is a beast with the power to kill over a hundred people. She uses her new power to defend her village from rogue wolves, but starts to lose her humanity in the process.

When outside pressures of the war-torn country seep in, Isabelle must choose between defending herself as a wolf or being a woman with the man she loves.

Will Isabelle find her true heart within the beast?

If you like inspirational heroines, unique love stories, and some darker thrills and chills, this paranormal/shifter romance is for you!

One-click now to continue the magic, romance, and heart-pounding adventure.

Between Dog and Wolf is the direct sequel to Cry Wolf and Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing - a darker twists on Beauty and the Beast inspired by the Beast of Gévaudan and the French Revolution.

What are HighTower Fairytales?

HighTower Fairytales lean more toward the original sources (not Disney) with rich semi-historical settings. They have magic. They have scary monsters. And, most importantly, they have unique and complex characters who are trying hard to improve themselves.

They also include plenty of humor, and all the heroes marry their Prince/Princess Charming and live happily ever after at the end!

Basically, these stories meant to inspire, but have a very difficult and occasionally dark tower to climb. They are conservatively marked at 14+ and are appropriate for teens and young adults.

Fun Continuation of a Twisted Tail

Parents: PG13- this is acceptable for 15+
Language: PG
Violence: PG13 - normal to genre, nothing overly graphic
Sexual content: PG13 - 15+ read- merely due to some violence and animal references to "mating", kissing, and some flashbacks and stituations that could be triggering for sexual assault or abuse victims. It was still kept a clean tale, the talk of mating, is used more as an animal term of coupling/marriage and starting a family/having pups.

After the cliffhanger in book two (honestly, it made me mad yet I still loved the book and had to continue) I really debated on the next book but finally caved and bought it. I'm glad I did, the story continues to be addictive and a fun and unique twist on a well loved story. I'm on to the final book and can't wait to see where it goes. I have seen that you can purchase the whole series (all 4 books) now so I would recommend purchasing them that way.

The narration is great, and I liked having the two narrators to help manage the perspectives of the two main characters.

REALLY INTRIGUING FAIRY TALE TWIST

ANOTHER GREAT STORYLINE. VERY WELL WRITTEN AND EASY TO FOLLOW. FAIRYTALE TWIST WITH BEAUTY BEING THE BEAST AND GETTING THE RIGHT MAN.
IF THIS WAS A TRILOGY IT WOULD BE A GOOD CONCLUSION. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE CONTINUATION.
NARRATORS ARE GREAT AND EASY TO FOLLOW.

the perfect fix

I did NOT like how 2 ended. But the characters took their journey here, and who they are at the end of this one is far better and truer to their essences, so I'm glad it happened anyway. Howl and Belle are both so strong in their own ways, and together they are simply perfect. Loved this book just as much as 1 & 2. looking forward to the epilogue!
