More controversies arise, friendships develop, new leaders surface, unexpected romantic relationships emerge, tempers heat up, disloyalty erupts, all while death looms around them. A third wave of the virus threatens to strike.

Better Lands: The Discoveries is the first in a five-book series about human resilience and hope for survivors of a dying world. The series follows them on the journey to the better lands, where they hope to be free from the deadly virus. Will they get there before the third-wave attacks? Will they be safe in the better lands?

Damn good

The characters in this book are well developed and each chapter leaves you wanting to know what will happen next! I highly recommend this book and am excited for the next ones to be published!

Being from Vermont, it was fun to know of the landmarks noted and the writer's description of them was spot on! Just nailed it.

Beyond Susan's incredible writing ability, the character development of Rosa, Jimmy, and Darcy was phenomenal...A wonderful audiobook that you won't be able to put down!

What a wonderful way for the author to show her talent. This gives you some romance, suspense as well as joy. I highly recommend this audiobook. I can see a TV series or a movie.

Incredible

An incredible window into the best and worst parts of humanity. Fast-paced and thrilling. Better Lands came highly recommended and I agree this audiobook is one that is hard to put down. A great suspense series…. can’t wait for the next audiobook to launch.

I love this audiobook

I love this audiobook. The audiobook is similar to the current Covid outbreak we all are still experiencing but worse as survivors basically are left with nothing but each other. The journey has begun and I eagerly waiting for book two.

What an extraordinary story! "better Land" breaks the mold of your typical dystopian novels and really thinks outside the box. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series!
