It was only when I recognised, accepted and finally embraced that what I was doing was actually some kind of Magic that suddenly things began to fall into place. Once I realised that the power came from within me, it was as if the light had suddenly been switched on. I learned how to manifest love and money, but I also learned how to be happy, truly happy. If you're jaded by the whole New Age idea of The Laws of Attraction, have become bored by their failure to deliver this book is for you. It is my intention to lead you by the hand through a marvellous journey of wonder and adventure, teaching you how to change your life, one step at a time.

Refreshingly down to earth

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I am a newbie to this LoA and manifestation stuff, and have been reading a variety of self-proclaimed experts on it. This is the only one that sounds like the real deal, not least because it is a fraction of the cost of online courses and programs. The author does spend what seems to be an inordinate amount of time saying what her book isn't, and I eventually wondered if she would tell me what her book was. It gets better and clearer after the first read/listen.

What does Fiona Hardingham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She has a clear, crisp reading style that is perfect for this book. She reads each word as if it matters.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

If you aren't working to change something in your life that you don't like, you shouldn't think about it at all.

Any additional comments?

Don't rush to get the second volume after getting this one. There is plenty of useful information in here. I have both of her audiobooks and all three of the books in the series, but this is the one that I keep coming back to. (When will volume 3 be recorded? I want it!)

Short and sweet!

It was just the reminder I needed to hear. Her writing style is simple and to the point. An easy and inspiring read!

I'd recommend this book to anyone who's knowledgeable about the interplay between our thoughts/feelings/energy fields and physical reality.

What did you like best about this story?

I've been reading and listening to material about manifestation for years, and this book is seriously special. I love how Davis talks about how hard it was for her to become good at 'magic'--THAT I can relate to! Lol and my other fave is the fact that she's actually enhanced my vocabulary in this arena by identifying and defining specific phenomena that occur to a conscious manifester…like, 'snap-back,' I think?! Ugh, that idea NEEDED to be named!!!

Which scene was your favorite?

When she explained why 'want' is kinda whack…or maybe when she explained why 'snap-back' occurs--why we sometimes we manifest the things we think we want and then completely lose them within a short period of time.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Lots.

I love how short this book is; every second is valuable, and it's easy to stay engaged throughout. And the reading is quite good as well.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I just finished the first book. The author has written this series as three short books for her own reasons. The theme of the book is that the law of attraction works but not as described by other authors. I don't know if the law of attraction works or not but I can tell you that so far it has not worked for me... and I have tried. This book explains the failure for most people to succeed with the law of attraction. It will take some time to see if it works so at this moment I can't recommend the book to friends but I am following the advice the book gives.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Becoming Magic?

The author portrays herself as someone who has figured out the law of attraction and now leads a wonderful life and blesses the lives of others. Assuming all this is true (I think she uses a pen name, so you can't research her at all) the book is a breakthrough.

I don't generally like reviews like this one. I read the book but can't comment on whether the book is effective or not. I already bought the second book and am following the advice in the fist book. Part of that advice is to not listen to the second or third book until you complete your "training" in the first book. I am in that stage. I hope to progress and write reviews for parts two and three. The book is interesting and well narrated. The first book is basically a warning to not begin to apply the principles in books two and three until you "fix" yourself. It sounds ok. I am working on it. I gave it high marks because at this point I don't have the right to rate her lower as I have only read the book. What she asks is difficult for me as I am a negatively focused person and I have to change that. If her strategy works, that alone will be worth the cost of all three books. If she can help me successfully apply the law of attraction, so much the better. The jury is still out.

Thank you for writing this book. I feel that your book has saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars in getting to the root of why trying to manifest my wants never happen. Thank you for saving me from hours and hours of researching the LOA and not getting what I want. It is true that one must first look into one self first and change before asking the universe for anything. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of your books. Again, thank you and I am so greatful you decided to share your knowledge.

The book take about being ready to receive your dreams and preparing your Consiousness and life for what is waiting for you. Taking responsibility and action. Loved it.

Pretty insightful book and I've watched The Secret

I enjoyed the book. It's cool for them to list out the steps to manifest the desired result. I did find some of the negatives to be annoying because as people who desire to change their mindset already most of us have issues with negative thoughts. All in all a good book.

The author makes it very realistic on how ro approach magic. It is really all up to you to envision your future.
