As a person who has battled eating "right" and the subsequent merry go rounds of being thin, then heavy, then thin, etc., my whole life, I was very impressed with her theories and arguments of looking at food as neutral without labels of good and bad as much as possible. I was impressed right up until she started suggesting in the bonus section "Intermittent Fasting". I was very disappointed in her advocacy of this weight loss method and immediately turned the audio off. I have done intermittent fasting and I can testify to the fact that it makes you obsess over food and what you are going to eat and when. There us no spontaity at all. It takes a lot of food pre-plannng ahead and every " intermittent faster" that I watched on YouTube, and myself also, ended up being obsessed about food, food, food! Actually it is the exact opposite of what she hypothesized throughout the entire audio book!! I am going to work with her original premise.... but was super disappointed that she went back to listening to others' opinions, especially since she had derided the so called experts quite a bit previously.
