Publisher's Summary

In the final volume of Anne Rice's erotic trilogy, Beauty's adventures on the dark side of sexuality make her the bound captive of an Eastern Sultan and a prisoner in the exotic confines of the harem. As this voluptuous adult fairy tale moves toward conclusion, all of Beauty's encounters with myriad variations of sexual fantasy are presented in a sensuous, rich prose that intensifies this exquisite rendition of Love's secret world and makes the Beauty series an incomparable study of erotica. In it, Anne Rice makes the forbidden side of passion a doorway into the hidden regions of the psyche and the heart.

Not what I was expecting.

THE series has alot of sex, bondage, and great aspects, but I feel the story line didnt bring me in and make me feel like I was there.bi have listened to many books that have had me squeeze my thighs and squirming in my seat wanting to get the hubby home ASAP. This series did not do that even a little.

Erotica

The books in this series are unapologetically erotic. If sex between all genders and bdsm is your thing this book will be a delight.

Beauty Book 3

I loved the book. Anne Rice did an excellent job with writing this book, keeping with Beauty's journey and she was excellent with being so descriptive, making you feel like you were part of the story.

Good Story. Male reader is TERRIBLE!

Story is what it is and it delivers. Don't get me wrong, the female reader does well, but the male reader leaves SO much to be desired. Completely incompetent - all of his parts should be reread.

sooo slow

I had the hardest time getting into it, so much so that I quit trying . NOT anything like I've read from Ann Rice. Wish I could exchange credit but I waited too long. Sooo not impressed.

The male reading was extremely cringy.

The constant mispronunciations and horrible voices used for different characters made listening horrendous. Just horrible!

An erotic fairy tale of great imagination

I would suggest this book to anyone looking for an erotic spin on a classic fairy tale that evokes the imagination and the mind. I loved every chapter and congratulate Anne Rice on another amazing piece of literature.

Erotica perfection

Why do all good stories come to an end?! Alas this does also. As expected, non stop sexy and fairy tell ending are extremely satisfying.

Disappointed

While the first two books in the Beauty trilogy were primarily about the title character, this one seemed to be primarily about the male characters. For me, an occasional foray into domination of the boys (almost always by men) was accepted (and occasionally quite enjoyable), it became tedious, then irritating after a while.
Perhaps that element could have been made into a different book, leaving this one to continue with the main theme.
