Hate it when is over! So good

This book was a punch into my soul. It hit all the feels, and I was not ready for it to end! This gave found family a whole new meaning! And I want to be a Colson. It is such beautiful writing. Lincoln is all man; yes, he is a billionaire and a martial arts fighter. He is all protection and kindness. My girl Arden is a brave, intense spitfire who loves hard in her way. This story developed at a perfect pace, and now I'm dying because I have to wait for Trace Story, which I have been dying for since the first time he was introduced. Catherine knows how to write a perfect found family romantic suspense!

A beautiful story!

Arden’s story started with a gut-wrenching prologue. If you’ve read the previous books in this series you know she’s skittish around people and now we know why. Then enter Linc, who’s all up in her space with all his billionaire charm (or not!) and we got these two MCs clashing with lots of sexual tension. I love the Colsons and their protectiveness toward each other. Their group chat is funny too. And not to forget Lolli being Lolli was so hilarious. Also, for once I actually figured out mid way who the bad guy was!

Sebastian York is the perfect Linc! His voice makes me smile. I love Samantha Brentmoor’s voice too. Her male voice is great!

unbelievable twist 😳

I loved this story! I love this series! I have read all of them so far. I went into this one TRYING not to guess who the bad guy was because I'm always wrong..hahaha BUT i did have a short list. Low and behold I WAS SOOO WRONG! 🤣 Catherine Cowles has a way with keeping you on your toes with who the bad guys are in her books.
Arden and Lincs' connection was so good from the beginning! When things finally exploded between them, it was 🔥🥵. Sebastian York and Samantha Brentmor did amazing as the voices of Linc and Arden. I think Sebastian was a PERFECT choice for Linc. he would be who i would have picked too.
That little Easter egg at the very end of the audio book had me 😲🤩

Unbelievable

Another fantastic book. I loved their chemistry from the very beginning. This books gives you every emotion. Omg “swimming”….adored that part. Always love Lolli and the mushy gushy priceless. This story has so many twist and turns. Perfect epilogue! Every book is better than the next. Can’t wait for Trace’s book! Hoping Fallon gets hers!!!

Beautiful Exile is everything I love about Catherine Cowles’ writing—emotional, suspenseful, and deeply romantic. Arden’s story completely pulled at my heart. Finally learning about her painful past made me love her even more, and I was so moved by the strength she found in herself and in Linc.

Linc is the kind of hero you can’t help but fall for. A protective billionaire with his own wounds, he becomes a safe haven for Arden, and the way their relationship slowly and beautifully builds amidst the chaos around them was perfection. The suspense element had me hooked, and Cowles balanced it all flawlessly.

Now let’s talk about the audiobook—because wow. Sebastian York and Samantha Brentmore absolutely nailed this performance. Their voices brought Linc and Arden to life in such a powerful way. The dual narration was perfectly executed, and both narrators captured the emotional nuances, the intensity, and the tenderness of the story effortlessly. Their performance didn’t just tell the story—it elevated it.
