I forced myself to finish

Ms Mallory, decide: sex/romance or sociopath mystery? There was so much goo in this book, I had to stop occasionally. This borders on porn, not romance. I figured out what was happening long before the book was done. I didn’t really like any of the shallow characters. They all were easily duped by one sociopath.

I thought the story was very good I think a lot of people could relate to it in their real life

I wish Susan Mallory would have a different audiobook narrator than Tanya Eby. her sing song type of narration makes it difficult to listen to in my opinion. she really doesn't use different character voices but the sing song happy-go-lucky narration just really takes away from the story.

Deal of the day

This was a deal of the day and I decided to give it a try. It was cute and honestly, not the typical romantic book that I have read before, which made me like it even more. I hardly ever go for romantic books, but I did like this one and would recommend it.

Friendships are precious

I hope the narrator doesn’t read this review because I don’t want you to hurt her feelings, but I almost gave up on this listen because of her. I felt like I was a second grader being read to by a parent volunteer. She drove me crazy with her precise pronunciation of every word and syllable and often with a nasal sound. The book itself was sub-par in my estimation.

A nice story. The narration is painful

This story is nice but predictable. Very Hallmark. The narration is over annunciated and tough to listen to.

Easy Listening

Friendship, family dynamics, and drama, which many of us can relate to, make this an easy book to listen to while working around the house, driving in the car, or falling asleep!

Hit home with family matters

I was so impressed with how much close to home this hit with similar issues I’ve experienced with family. Made me realize how to take another look at things.

Fantastic

A little slow to start, but took a turn and is all together lovely. The characters are believable and definitely a feel good read.
