A bit predictable

The plot was a bit predictable, but you have to love the D’Angelo family. The characters are fun. The character development is not deep, but enjoyable enough.

She cracks me up. The family is hilarious. The typical macho stuff and then the tender actions.

Great series!

This is the second book in The D'Angelos series that centers around an Italian family who own a restaurant in the Little Italy neighborhood of San Diego. This second book is Chloe's story, the sister in the family, and her longtime family friend Dante who is back in town. The characters are well developed, the love story is charming, and the ending is a satisfying HEA. The spice level in this series is mild but not closed door.

Devon Sorvari does a great job narrating and I have no complaints about her performance at all, but I do usually prefer a dual or duet narration.
