A typical prayer goes something like this: "Please help us find the money to pay our mortgage this month." Saying the prayer may help you feel like the burden of that month's mortgage has been lifted, but the part of you that feeds on fear will simply seek out new financial worries to keep you awake at night. Profoundly Inspiring!
It was a wonderful experience to listen to this book on my walks. Though written during the challenges of the pandemic, Plesent's observations and suggestions are great Life Lessons for any time. I loved the way she blended quotes from philosophers, poets, and writers as a jumping off point for her writings -- that inspired me to take deeper breaths, slow down, and truly feel guided in a positive direction.
