Audiobook Review… I had never listened to an audiobook before I started listening to Melissa Foster’s Love in Bloom Series. Now I cannot stop listening. I’ve broadened my listening but BJ Harrison’s (narrator) is still my favorite. He brings Melissa’s characters to life, brings feeling to the stories, and makes me feel what the characters are feeling. I can hear the flirting, feel the fun, and enjoy the love that Emery and Dean share.

Ebook Review…Back at my favorite book setting, Cape Cod. This time Melissa Foster takes her readers to Bayside and we get to catch up with the Bayside crew. Dean and Emery deserves to have their story told and I am so excited about it. These two met last summer and have been keeping in touch through FaceTime, text, and phone calls. They have been flirting, sexting, and sharing their lives for so long it seems that they have been together forever.

I laughed often while reading Bayside Passions. Between Violets craziness and Emery’s uncensored reactions I chuckled, giggled, and laughed out loud many times. There were times I cringed at these same ladies and how unrestricted they were at times. But I loved every word of it. I also loved how the rest of the Bayside Crew accepted them as they were. There was never judgment just 100% acceptance.

Together Dean and Emery are opposites. Dean is settled, living his life, and just doing his thing. Enter Emery. She blows his world apart. Leaves her things all over his house, enters his every thought, and changes his life for the better. The best thing is Dean also changes Emery’s life for the better. He brings in some form of order, accepts her for all her quirks, and shows her what true love really is.


I was so happy to be back with these characters. It was wonderful to get to know Dean and Emery better and catch up with the other Bayside characters. I cannot wait for more from this wonderful location and amazing characters.

Loved this sweet and heartwarming romance!

I love these cast of characters in this sweet and sexy series. This story is about Dean and Emery's romance and it was so much fun! They had become close, long distance friends, after meeting earlier at Rick and Desiree’s Christmas party. After a heartbreaking betrayal, Emery is moving to Bayside to live and work. Dean couldn't be happier, since he has wanted Emery from the first moment he met her. Emery is so naive and clueless to her feelings, but her attraction and desire for Dean grows stronger everyday. But she has been burned by a work romance before and is afraid to cross that line again. But Dean is so patient with Emery, trying not to scare her off and ruin their friendship. He is determined to convince her how perfect they are for each other and win her over. They are so cute together and I really cheered for their HEA! This sweet, engaging, and sexy romance is filled with witty banter, quirky characters, awkward situations, and fiery chemistry. Narrator, B.J. Harrison brings these characters to life and makes you fall in love with this quaint seaside community. I loved this fun, sweet & sexy romance, and want more of these wonderful friends and family of Bayside!

Great Friends to Lovers and Slow Burn Romance

This is the second book in the Bayside Summers Series. I loved Emery and Dean's friends to lovers, and slow burn romance. Emery is beautiful, smart, and talkative. Dean is handsome, and supportive. They are perfect together. Their story is sweet, flirty, passionate, funny, and heartwarming. Great narration from B.J. Harrison. Looking forward to more in the series.

I just listened to the audio book narrates by BJ Harrison. I just love his narration. I listen in my car going back and forth to work. It makes my commute bareable.

Melissa has done it again. Her books get better and better. Just when you think she can't top her latest, she does. Dean and Emerys relationship started as a flirtation. Then they became close friends through Skype. Dean had strong feelings for Emery. However, Emery thought of them as friends, very good friends. Emery swore off dating friends. The last relationship she had, she had to leave great job. Emery decided to move to Willfleet permanently instead of just going to work as a yoga instructor for the summer. Things change when Emery had to nice in with Dean for a while.
This story has a HEA and no cliffhangers.

Simply a love story

This was just a nice little romance . It wasn't filled with a lot of drama or meddling friends. It was a fun, flirty read between a landscaper and a yoga instructor. Two people who considered themselves friends until they ended up being more. Emery and Dean fit together well. Where she was outgoing and direct, Dean was more cautious, but definitely adventurous. When Emery turns to Dean for a place to stay while she's getting her Yoga business up and running, they end up heading into their Bayside passions.

My Thoughts on Bayside Passion

While this was an overall really good read, Dean kind of stole the show for me. He was so sweet and patient. He was so thoughtful and understanding. He was just an excellent man. Melissa Foster is really good at that in my opinion though. She develops her characters really well and you can connect with them. That was Dean for me. Don't get me wrong, Emery was great too. But I really enjoyed Dean's character.

BJ Harrison was the same steady, enjoyable narrator I've heard for the last several books in this series. He's got a great voice and there were no complaints.

Friends to Lovers

Bayside Passions by Melissa Foster is a wonderful friends to lovers story. I loved how Emery and Dean finally saw what was right in front of them in this story. The author is incredible at building wonderful characters that have strong friendships and values family relationship and great chemistry. The banter between characters is so good too! I laugh out loud with some of the lines. BJ Harrison is perfect bringing the books to life. His voice is so smooth and expressive.

Friends to lovers

Omg!!! I love Dean and Emery!! Bayside has become my new favorite place. I love a friends to lovers story. My husband and I were best friends before we became more than I think this is why I love this story so much. Melissa Foster gets better with every new book. Highly recommend this and the first book in the series. BJ Harrison did an amazing job with narration!!

This book book was an excellent read! The narration was excellent and kept me entertained! The author did an excellent job with the character builds and plot. I look forward to reading the next book in this series! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Fun, romantic story!

Dean and Emery are best friends, but he wants to be more than friends. Emery has sworn off dating friends since her last relationship is the reason she moved to the cape. Dean can no longer keep his feelings a secret and he is determined to show Emery how good they can be together. When she finally gives into her feelings, they are explosive together.

This is a great friends to lovers story. The second book of the Bayside Summer series and you won't be disappoint.
