In Bayside Passions....

When Emery Andrews's best friend, Desiree, moves away, falls in love, and opens an inn all in one summer, she feels her absence like a missing limb. Until she visits over the holidays and meets sinfully hot Dean Masters, who's as easy on the eyes as he is to talk to. After returning home, what starts as a flurry of late-night flirtations quickly turns into a deep connection and unexpected friendship. Now, months later, Desiree offers Emery a job teaching yoga at the inn. Adventurous Emery jumps at the chance and heads for Wellfleet, Massachusetts, to reunite with her BFF and her new close friend, Dean.

After months of sharing their lives and their secrets over video chats and phone calls, Dean's ready to move things to the next level. The fact that Emery seems oblivious to the sparks between them and has recently put her foot down about dating friends just means he'll have to bide his time.

When Emery finds a naked man in her kitchen the first morning she's there, Dean doesn't hesitate to move her into his guest room. Maybe now, Emery will see what's right before her eyes - although that guy she's got a date with might be a problem.

Loved it

**Edit to my original review**
I just listened to the audio book narrates by BJ Harrison. I just love his narration. I listen in my car going back and forth to work. It makes my commute bareable.

Melissa has done it again. Her books get better and better. Just when you think she can't top her latest, she does. Dean and Emerys relationship started as a flirtation. Then they became close friends through Skype. Dean had strong feelings for Emery. However, Emery thought of them as friends, very good friends. Emery swore off dating friends. The last relationship she had, she had to leave great job. Emery decided to move to Willfleet permanently instead of just going to work as a yoga instructor for the summer. Things change when Emery had to nice in with Dean for a while.
This story has a HEA and no cliffhangers.

Good book!!

This was a good long distance friends to lovers story for Dean and Emery. The characters were strong characters despite their hang ups in life with a strong sense of family for each of them that is relatable to the reader as all families have inner issues. I enjoyed Dean's determination to get Emery to see that they were already in a relationship once she moved to the Cape and his determination to get her to see that nothing about them would change. I enjoyed Emery's spirit and strength, especially when dealing with Dean's father. Their story moved along well and kept me interested and I enjoyed them from the start. The narration by Mr. Harrison was well performed and enthusiastic through out the story making it enjoyable to listen to while keeping my interest as well. I would recommend this book to others.

Viking and a Wild Woman!

Melissa had a talent writing stories that I love. B. J. Harrison has a great voice that makes me love his narration.
Dean Masters left his job as a nurse to do landscaping for places around Bayside. He meets Emory Andrews while she visited her friend Desiree. When Emory goes back to Virginia, her boss hit on her. When Desiree offer her a job at the Inn being a yoga instructor, she takes it. Emory and Dean had been in contact with each other every since her visit. When Emory told Dean, she would not date friends he agreed, but worked to change her mind. The first morning Emory was there she found a naked man in her kitchen. When she told Dean, he put her in his guest bedroom. What a time Dean had dealing with her quirks. I loved it!
