Good story, bad narration.

I don't blame the narrator for their performance. It was fine. However, I do REALLY wish Harlequin would follow the lead of independent romance authors and start using two narrators for their romance audiobooks. When a pair of narrators take each main character in the book, it's always more romantic and I have a better connection to each character.

The narrators man voices sounded really similar. The females sounded better but not hugely different. It did confuse me a little bit. The performance is tolerable.

As for the plot, I did enjoy it overall but I felt the end was rushed. I won't spoil it but I will say once I figured out who was the bad guy, I was a bit deflated.

I would still recommend this book, maybe not on audio if you're a stickler about the voice work.
