Worth every dollar!

I like the information provided by the author, and I must say that this is a wealth of information about overcoming stress, anxiety and or depression. I highly recommend this book, very informative and it worth my money. This will be my everyday guide to Battling Burnout.

I learned a lot from this book.

This book is special and important. It's the kind of book you want to give to everyone you know because you know it will make their lives a better place. Very educational, especially the science behind burnout and stress. I learned a lot about myself and my stress, and finally an understandable way to manage it.

Tools to create real growth

A million little decisions led you to your particular form of burnout. But the root cause is the same—what you do is out of alignment with your values, or your work doesn’t contribute to your long-term goal. Or you don’t even have goals and don’t know where you’re going. For instance, if you value financial gain over your family, don’t be surprised your relationships with your family are not perfect. You need to know your priorities. Health, family, love, finances—everything should have its own place. But if you value finances over your health, sooner or later it’s going to cause issues. Take a moment to sit with the question, “What do I value the most?” Think about how your values are incorporated into your work. What gives you a sense of meaning and purpose? What is your mission? What do you have and want to offer to the world? And what cost are you willing to pay? Every one of us has something valuable to offer to society, but not everyone is willing to do it at the cost of health or family. This self-analysis will give you awareness and understanding of what’s most important to you, and it will show you which elements are missing from your life or work. After this period of introspection, see how you can incorporate your mission and values into your current role. This might mean crafting your job to fit better to your personality, or just changing the way you’re looking at your role.

Glenn Guides the Way.

This course made me think about my outlook on life. - I want to say a HUGE thank you, to Anthony Glenn for creating this course, There are so many concepts laid out which are so true about myself (Which is why I originally took the course) - I look on Social Media and think everyone is better than me, and I'm stuck online all day doing nothing, I suffer from both Anxiety and depression, and I want to re-schedule my time away from Social Media and into a Full Time Web Developer, which is my biggest Dream, this course brings so many different emotions, on how I can agree to the true fact, that even as a 29 year old Adult. Facebook has (Had!) taken over my life and I need to think more about my future, rather than isolate myself to an 8 hour a day cycle of nothing but, thinking about how great other people are doing in life. - I've reflected upon this course and I will definitely change the way my habits are, and succeed for the future, Thank you! - P.S I will definitely look into any other courses you have, Anthony G.

A must listen.

This audiobook has totally changed my views on hard times in my life and spirituality. It is an excellent addition to previous Mental Hygiene: How to Change your Mind which I purchased before. I feel It showed me the path to overcome burnout and change my life for the better. Thank you for such valid information narrated very clear and straightforward. A must listen.

Burn out can happen to all of us!

Perhaps you find it hard to ask for help. Maybe you believe that you have to do everything on your own if you want it to be done right. You might feel a lack of support, that no one has your back.

Stop trying to carry everything on your own. No one is strong enough to do it forever. Everyone will crash down sooner or later. It’s not a sign of weakness to ask for help, to share the work, to delegate.

Let your close people in. Tell your family and friends that you are struggling and what you’re going through. They will probably want to help if they only knew how much you needed help.

We are social beings. You are not an exception. Connect or reconnect with others. It’s a powerful aid against depression, anxiety, and burnout. Life is nicer when you have others to rely on.

You were meant to live with passion and purpose!!!

This is a state of physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion caused by prolonged and excessive stress. Burnout provokes extreme fatigue; you feel drained and that you have nothing more to give. It can cause serious damage to your work, relationships, and health. When you are unable to meet constant demands, you lose interest and motivation, start to question your ability, and your energy fades. It reduces your productivity and you are left hopeless, helpless, and full of resentment. The negative effects of burnout spread to all areas of life—your career, your home life, relationships, health, and social life. It also causes changes to your body, making you vulnerable to illnesses from colds and the flu, to more serious conditions. Burnout can hit anyone who is constantly exposed to high stress, including businesspeople, CEOs, students, stay-at-home-moms, and anyone overloaded with invisible work and taking care of others. On the other hand, not everyone exposed to stress will develop this condition. If stress is well-managed, it may not do any damage.

Overcoming Stress

Some of us do suffer from stress and depression, there are lots of things to overcome it. I am impressed and amazed with the information in this audiobook. Tons of useful and helpful information as well as tips and advice. I highly recommend this book.

A gem of guidance.

This book was a life saver, or rather a quality of life saver! It has helped so much now, but wish I had had it a few years ago. I needed “a plan” to get my life back and it has given me one while reminding me I didn’t create this sometimes crazy over-caffeinated world I’m not alone. Life is getting better. In a desire to pass forward this gem of guidance, hope and spirit this book will be my Christmas gift to many others.
