Instigated by the Germans under the command of General Erich von Falkenhayn, it became a war of attrition that would benefit neither side. good for a short road trip

I enjoyed this listen. hourly history is able to dig up very interesting facts about the topics they cover. this really did justice to the men who fought and died at Verdun.
