Publisher's Summary

"I'm pregnant." Molly Gilmore had a good life before she uttered those two stupid words. While preparing to graduate from culinary school and building up the courage to make a move on her hot, sugar-cookie-smelling pastry instructor Marco, she can't wait to finally have the GREAT life she's always dreamed about, instead of just the good one she's been living. Always known as the quiet ninja, she fully intends to stay hidden in the shadows with her nut-job family, so they have no chance to embarrass her around the man she's crushed on for two years. Unfortunately, her family has other plans.

When they yank her straight out of her comfort zone, she finds herself starring in the craziest train wreck she's ever witnessed. Molly ultimately gets a more exciting life that doesn't revolve around school, but she's pretty sure the man of her dreams won't be sticking around long after her family gets ahold of him. There aren't too many guys who can handle smelling like pee, having the whole world know how he masturbates, and being forced to eat an entire bag of dicks.

Join the Chocolate Lovers and Chocoholics gang for one final story about love, baked goods, making poor life choices, and remembering how important family is - even if they drive you insane. Mostly because it's illegal to kill them.

Waste of time

Do not bother. The world's dumbest and most annoying family. And just because you can think of a never ending way to curse makes it funny, purposeful or even a little bit amusing. Uuuggghhh.

not funny, vulgar just to be vulgar, childish.

worse romance I have ever read. I like fantasy but this kind of crap is just beyond my ability to suspend disbelief. the language and ridiculous situations pulled me out of the story time n time again.

Silly and lewd

I wii say the narrator was good. The story, however, was incredibly stupid unless you want to read about blow jobs with resultant vomiting, sex toys and sex with food to mention a few.

Too over the top

Language and crazy situations at times were funny but then it went over the top. Too much unrealistic situations and people made it annoying to read. The language and stupid things hurled at people just became crass. It seemed funny at first but I grew tired of it quickly.

Meh

This was a bit too try hard at being crazy that it missed the mark for also being genuine. There really is this fine line that needs to be taken into consideration for novels like this. The narrator also does not try to discern between male and female POV it’s quite annoying. Overall I don’t hate it but I would recommend it.

Just Don’t !

This book is a total waste of time and the narrator only had one voice for all the characters. Just awful. I skipped to the last chapter and couldn’t even read that one. Whoever gave this book a good review.. well, I just don’t get it.

Save your money

I found the premise, characters and narration so annoying I quit 4 chapters in. Its not that having a female narrator do dual pov narration can never work. But it sure as heck doesn't here. Just plain confusing. Ugh.

Too over the top

I am a fan of Tara Sivec and have most of her books. That being said, this one is at the bottom.
She didn't write much of a story, unless you consider curse words with a very few non curse words a story. I am a US Navy Veteran and cursing was just a part of being a sailor. I found that this was a bit much. The characters of Drew and Jenny were totally offensive. Especially Drew. I did laugh at 3 small scenes but I kept listening hoping it would get better, it didn't. It was not even vaguely up to par with Ms. Sivec's previous works. Don't waste a credit on this one, it wasn't worth it. I do read the reviews of every book I'm interested in and if there are more positive than negative, I take a chance. Ms. McFadden reading was ok, considering what she had to work with.

probably good if you hate women.

this is only going to be an enjoyable listen if you really love body-shaming, vomit, and the idea that a woman's body and vagina are completely ruined and made utterly disgusting by childbirth. decent narrator, though!
