“Ryker might’ve been bad for business, but it was the best thing to ever happen to my heart.”

This was a good one. I loved the dynamic between Ryker and Camille. Camille was so stubborn throughout 60% of this story. There were moments I wanted to smack the type A right out of her. Ryker is so misunderstood. I’m glad he opened up to Camille so she got a better picture of why he is the way he is now. Camille’s father is one awful human being. I hope he has the day he deserves. I do wish there was a little more from him at the end of the story. I’d like to see how he reacts to his strong independent daughter who was way too good for him. The one thing that annoyed me was the giant miscommunication. If that was discussed earlier on I think things between the main characters would have gone smoother, but at the same time it made the story. I think I just hate the miscommunication microtrope. Overall the two worked well for each other and I was very happy to see some familiar faces again. This story overall was a good enemies to lovers/one night stand story. I’m interested in what’s next with Jude’s story.

As always J F Harding was fantastic. And I always love hearing Vanessa Edwin’s voice in stories. I think they were casted perfectly for this one.

Loved Camille and Ryker!

Bad for Business is a rollercoaster of emotions - hate, love, miscommunication, angst, longing, and a slow-burn that’s worth the wait. My favorite parts were the quiet moments when Camille and Ryker let their guard down and showed their vulnerability to each other.

Loathe to Lovers Good Time!

First off, I love a duet narration so much! This one is such a good time! JF Harding and Vanessa Edwin (both favorites of mine) are great as Ryker and Camille! Their animosity, the longing, the MISCOMMUNICATION (lol you'll get it when you get there), the jealousy, possessiveness, ooo it's just all so good and I enjoyed this one while reading along so much!

I have been looking forward to Ryker and Cami since they were previewed in book 1, and they did NOT disappoint! Ryker is not nearly the trainwreck he is portrayed to be, but one drunken "whoops" brings in the PR babysitter that turns out to be a NYE one night stand, even though he wanted more. This starts a summer of push, pull, antagonizing, & pining because they are NOT thrilled to be spending the summer together ha! I know I am not alone when I say I LOVE FORCED PROXIMITY WHEN THEY DON'T WANT TO BE THERE! The tension between these two is absolutely delish, and when they finally break, yessss!

I loved that they both had some things in common, such as wanting to make their father's proud (Cami's dad is a PIECE of work though, sheeeeesh), & also that you come to understand Ryker so much more than the forever playboy that he is portrayed as in the media. His heart needs love, and he wants to love himself too, and I love his journey in this!

Obviously I loved it, I could keep going, but take my word for it that you want to read AND listen to this one! Can't wait for Jude's book!!

I loved returning to Pembroke!

Kat Singleton has done it again! This was such a fantastic listen. JF Harding and Vanessa Edwin brought the story to life with perfect duet narration. Slow burn tension, delicious miscommunication and just the right amount of spice when it mattered most.

Ryker Davenport 😍

Cami & Ryker’s love story is so adorable. I was on the edge of my seat every time I thought that an interaction would become more. Like a gentleman Ryker refused. I love Cami’s spunk and boss attitude. The narrators were phenomenal. I loved it!!

Jf harding was the saving grace

While jf harding is one of my favorite narrators, even he couldn’t save this one for me. I really tried but the Camille character was so incredibly unlikable it was a DNF…
