Publisher's Summary

New York Times best-selling author Mary B. Morrison introduces her most seductive and vulnerable characters yet with the Crystal women, a family whose bonds are tested by love, lust, and the elusive quest for true happiness....

Blake Crystal has the best of almost everything. She's at the top of her game at work, she has four wonderful daughters, and at 50 she's more financially secure than she's ever been. In and out of the bedroom, her new younger lover takes her in breathtaking directions that force her to make decisions she never imagined.... On the surface Alexis Crystal is an ideal daughter. As confident as she is beautiful, she can have any man or woman she wants, so she has both in her collection of bed partners. Determined to add one more, she doesn't care that he's dating a family member. But for all the satisfaction she gets between the sheets, she's left unsatisfied by the one thing that troubles her - the identity of her father is listed as unknown on her birth certificate. Her mother has kept him a secret for 26 years.

Alexis can't move forward with her life until she stands face to face with the man she feels abandoned her. It doesn't help that her three other sisters don't know the identities of their fathers either... ut they've also got their hands full with problems.... As the Crystal women celebrate Blake's big birthday, they realize the issues in their relationships are too big to ignore. To get what they want, they'll have to lie, use their seductive power, battle their insecurities, and, if necessary, betray each other....

Good story in a strange way

I really enjoyed this book, but the characters were messed up in so many ways. The mother and daughter's relationship, the way all 3 characters' minds were so screwed up... I kept finding myself disgusted with them. That Alexis was something else. I was scared to see what would happen next, but couldn't stop going. I love and hate stories like that... it made me feel messed up inside. lol. OMG to the ending! I can't wait to see what happens next. Good job to Miss Morrison who never fails to take readers on emotional trips.

Interesting read

I love Mary B Morrison but this was not the best story but it was ok. To me this book was very slow paced, but the characters were very strong. A lot was going on from beginning to the end. The ending had me at the edge of my seat though, I was like are you serious? Oh damn! Interesting read I would have to say and the naration was a stellar performance. There are better books to use your credits on but this is one of those books to get if you just need something to listen to for the time being. I will be looking out for the next one though.

A little slow & predictable

This story was okay. The narrators were great. The story kinda dragged on & left me yelling "OKAY GET TO THE POINT!!!". Its not in my top 10 but its not the worst book. VERY PREDICTABLE

I love Mary B

This is the start of something good. The voice of Spencer was perfect, sexy and tantalizing , while real and grounded. D9nt like the after all these years Blake is still desperate and anxious for a man

Educated on paper, Stupid in life

This story tried too hard. I couldn't get enough from the characters to understand there choices. Perhaps Mary should have walked us through some of the tragedies instead of telling just us about them. Everyone makes mistakes in this thing called life, but I found this book to be grossly ridiculous. No Soulmates Dissipate here.

Wasn't impressed

I loved the narrators, but I just wasn't feeling this story and it doesn't end so there will be a part two. The whole mother and daughters sleeping with the same men....I could leave it.
