The biggest risk isn't telling a secretit's keeping it.It was a simple arrangement. No strings, no feelings, no complications. Just stolen moments in the dark when the world isn't watching. Now I'm standing on his doorstep two weeks before Thanksgiving, breaking every rule we made.Ten years of loving him in the dark never prepared me for waking up next to Griffin Hall. But somewhere between shared meals and kisses on the couch that feel so much like a life I could have, I fell all the way in love with my best friend's younger brother. When the world catches up to us, I'll have to choosekeep hiding, or finally fight for him.Midnight and Mistletoe is a best friend's brother, secret relationship, friends-to-lovers Christmas romance featuring small-town charm, ten years of unspoken love, forced proximity, and one very determined sprig of mistletoe.©2026 Ana Ashley (P)2026 Ana Ashley Literature & Fiction Romance

While the narration of Fox is quite good, but Finn’s sometimes comes across as rushed. The narrator does a decent job of bringing Finn and Fox to life but there were some weird choices for some of the secondary town folk characters, the worst being the way every female character comes out sounding like they’re all old women.

Great story but some odd narration choices
