Learn Brazilian Portuguese naturally through 23 short, everyday stories — a lost phone at a bus stop, a missing cake, a rained-out picnic, a first day at the gym. Each story plays first in Portuguese, then in English, then once more in Portuguese, so you check your understanding on the first pass and catch more words and patterns on the second.

Linguistically, these sit at roughly A2–B1 on the CEFR scale. Dialogue stays close to A2: short present-tense and pretérito perfeito exchanges ("Perdi meu celular"), concrete everyday vocabulary (phones, buses, cafés, doctor's appointments). Narration builds on Portuguese's core past-tense contrast: pretérito perfeito for completed actions ("olhou," "chegou," "disse") against pretérito imperfeito for description ("O céu estava cinza") — the real grammar hurdle on the way from A2 to B1 — plus occasional pluperfect ("tinha pago...") and futuro do pretérito ("chegaria atrasado") for backstory and reported thought. Sentences stay short, about 7–8 words on average, easy to follow by ear; the English pass clarifies the trickier forms right away.

Each story runs roughly 300–420 Portuguese words plus a matching English retelling — enough for a full scene, short enough to finish, Portuguese-English-Portuguese, in about five minutes. Core vocabulary recurs across stories, so words met in story three reappear, reinforced, by story ten.
