Enjoyable Overall, though...

The MC feels a bit juvenile. He is, so there's that. Still, considering he had previously lived another life, I wouldn't have minded a more mature personality.

I think he gets away with a lot of immature behavior in a military setting that wouldn't have been so easy going.

Still worth the listen though! Especially so if medieval military fantasy is your thing.

Entertaining

Nothing groundbreaking but still a fun read. A little weak on the RPG details with weird ‘stats’ but will give next book a shot.

Amazing book

I would definitely recommend this book to anybody that is interested threw me off with the Chinese references, but I got into it afterwards

Sovereign System

A surprisingly well written and entertaining story. Author L.D. Hopkins executed a story of tactics, action, and intriguing characters inside a LITRPG Progression fantasy tale. You Have the Academy aspect leading to unexpected attacks. The attacks take the story to another angle that is interwoven with risky plans, surprising results, and tactical decisions. All to say the story exceeded my expectations. Anything more on my part and it will be too spoiler-ish. Can’t wait for more from the author. DRmz 8-17-26

Cool concept

I totally go Romance of the Three Kingdoms vibes from this book. The concept of a military academy was a cool setting. The MC has some cool abilities that make him more than just a general but has some fighting potential. I enjoyed the start to this story and can’t wait to see what happens next. The narration was really well done.
