smh absolutely not

If unhinged bde was the goal, she missed the mark because these main men were flat out abusive. The men in this book, especially the mmc, behave like the ex that the mmc in other books end up having to kill. There's submissive women, then there's weak & desperate, and the women in this book are weak and desperate throughout the entire book! 🙄

The book is full of inconsistencies and the writing is adolescent, at best. The character development doesn't make sense. The last hour of the book all the men are completely different than how they been the whole book but with no real reason why they're suddenly semi respectful in life. And the repeated implications that the mfc don't take no mess was ridiculous because she was a willing punching bag the whole book and her best friend enjoyed watching it.
