Warmonger's Wrath

The Wrecking Squad, Book 3

By: Nick Snape

Narrated by: Ryan Pierson

You may shatter a Breaker’s heart, but they sure as hell won’t let you do it twice.

Like hounds under an Enforcer’s whip, Rebekah and the crew of the Sunstar are bullied into a punishing schedule. Returning from an intense, sickening mission, they are immediately sent out to infiltrate the secret bases of Court nobles as they play at war with their private armies. But the Warmonger is stirring, Countess Segfi flexing her muscles as the truth about the Scourge’s secrets is exposed. The ex-Breakers have something she wants, and she’ll stop at nothing to retrieve it.

With Rebekah and The Wrecking Squad caught up in deadly Court politics, the Countess takes a step too far, and the dogs of war slip their leash.

When the Warmonger steals something precious, Rebekah will go as far and as hard as it takes to get them back, even if it costs the lives of her crew.

Warmonger’s Wrath is the third in The Wrecking Squad series with the intrigue of The Expanse, the found family camaraderie of Firefly and the action of Aliens. From the author of the highly rated Weapons of Choice series.

Praise for the series:
“It's all here, from the Firefly wisecracking, broken crew and the fatally weaponised mind, to the claustrophobic terror ship of Alien. "
“Fast-paced and action-packed…a great start to a new series.”
"The prose is sharp, the dialogue witty, the characters likeable and relatable, and the story oozing with layers of intrigue, secrets and revelations."
“Helps fill the Expanse-shaped hole in my reading.”

Thrilling SciFi Adventure

I enjoyed this book as much as the first two in the series. I felt for Rebecca and her crew as they were run ragged completing job after job. I understood how Rebecca and her crew would risk everything to recover what was stolen by the Warmonger. My attention was captured by all the twists and turns, and moments of intense action as events unfolded. I thought Ryan Pierson's narration was great as his performance was entertaining. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.
