Captivating From Start to Finish!

I had been reading so many great reviews about this book, and I’m so glad I decided to purchase the audiobook. The narrators did an excellent job bringing the story to life. From beginning to end, it was engaging, captivating, and truly enjoyable to listen to. I completely understand why this book has received so many wonderful reviews.

Heat and Heart ❤️ Longing and Love ❤️ A Rollercoaster on Steroids

It was complicated and deep, with desire, drama, recognition and healing. People may come to your rescue but that doesn't entitle them to write your life's story or determine your future. Her foster family was a trip. They may have initially had good intentions but they were a mess and couldn't even raise their own son with character and humility.

Almost DNF this…

The story ended up being really good but there’s something about the dynamics in a IRR that bothers me personally where the Black MC seems to be used and abused (whether physical, emotional or financially) by White MCs. Again, this is a me thing. The ending made the story worth it but it definitely was annoying me getting there! Overall, 3.5 stars though!
