The Devil's Plaything is the latest series of Persephone Black's Underworld. Robin - the innocent waitress who enters an auction out of sheer desparation. Eva - the Consortium's ice-queen leader that is so drawn to Robin, she buys her for a 30 day contract. Outside of their tug-of-war of emotions, there's also mystery, corruption, gang wars, loyal friends and family... and some Beauty and the Beast vibes (it could just be me🤷🏽‍♀️ ). The thrills and swoons are abundant!

I love that Eva and Robin get 3 books, but it's almost unnecessary because I just devoured the series in one sitting! And I also love that all the other previous couples were involved in Eva's story.

I was so upset when the last book landed on a cliffhanger but hey the wait was well worth it! I do wish the books were longer but I just love all the lesbian mafia world she has created for us! I can’t wait to see what you come out with next! Also if it wasn’t clear this is a must listen!!!!! The narrators 🥵

Beautiful characters

Learned to fall in love with these characters and the voice actors is everything I needed in this moment of my life. Character building is so beautifully told

Absolutely Brilliant!

This is one of the best books from Persephone Black. Engaging, thoughtful and decidedly steamy. All 3 books in this series were excellent, and I waited until I had all 3 in my library before I began listening because I knew I wouldn't be able to stop until the conclusion. Allie Shae and Quinn Riley are brilliant narrators and delivered spot on performances that only added to the stories. Well worth the time and absolutely a welcome addition to my library. Well Done!

I loved this story. Although I did guess who the bad guy was. It’s a must read or listen to this trio.
