Great listen

Wonderfully written story. Narrator was awesome as well. You should be yourself a favor and get this audio book.

Heartfelt

Very enjoyable read. I like the way the difficult and sensitive topics affecting the main characters were handled. And the bits of humor tossed in here and there was fun. Excellent narration too.

One of my faves.

Hedonism

I actually expected this book to be one thing, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was so much more!

Ruby and Athena are both extremely successful women, newly neighbors, and each indulge in their careers as an excuse to remain single. As they get to know each other, they quickly learn that they have one thing above all else, in common - they both know grief. And so begins their beautiful journey of letting go, letting someone in, and falling in love again.

Ok and yes - it's quite spicy! 💥🔥❤️‍🔥🌶

Sometimes what we need is right next door…

I adored the narrator!! She was able to make perfect distinctions between Athena and Ruby along with all the other side characters. I already love the author and this narrator just made me love the book more!

Athena and Ruby were both strong, beautiful characters. I loved their depth of emotion and vulnerability as well as their strength and openness. Their relationship was developed both quickly and well paced, honoring their chemistry and their healing.

Highly recommend!
