Audible's Bedtime Stories are designed to let you drift off with no nagging feeling that you need to listen through to the end. Their purpose is to let you slowly fall into peaceful, restful sleep.

Wander through an ancient glen where the moss is thick, the flowers hum with color, and a hush lingers in the air. As the traveler follows winding paths, listens for wingbeats, and settles beside a crystal spring, they reflect on the stillness of the forest and the quiet magic that lives just beneath the surface.

Put me to sleep 3 nights in a row, which is the point. It’s soothing and somehow allows you to drift away from the story without feeling anxious because you’re missing something.

Duke Hill did a great job narrating the book. His voice was soothing and I fell asleep before it was over. Two thumbs aloft!

I can't really comment on the story as I have not made it past about 15 minutes. another great option as a sleep story. the narration is lyrical without being distracting. thanks Dule!

Is that Bud from the Cosby Show? Just kidding - Dule is as smooth as ever

I didn’t think it would work but it did !
It’s not a linear story line. It seems to me it’s meant to make your mind work hard to keep up with the story.
Bottom line it worked several days in a row. Sooo winner winner chicken dinner in my book. 😉

I had hoped this story would relax me and help me drift off to sleep. Unfortunately, it did the opposite. I began counting how many sentences were constructed with the “not this, but that” way of comparing. Also, I was confused as to how many “travelers” were in this story. “They” did this and “they” did that, but it appears that “they” were only one person. So, instead of relaxing, my brain was running to figure out a math problem and trying to ignore repetitive sentence structure.
