An amazing blend of GATE and SG1 at its finest

The combination of the nostalgia of SG1 adventures and the fun of D&D campaign with a modern twist. Made me wish it was long so I could enjoy more. Can't wait for book two!

My new favorite series

This book felt like an action movie. The adventures felt immersive, realistic, and above all fun. I did have to think about what some of the local characters were saying, but I think this adds to the appeal and immersion because that is how medieval people would speak.

Overall, this has left me needing more military fighting fantasy monster content. I will be back for this series and pick up every book that comes out.
