Women’s voices were terrible. Didn’t like voice pacing; was stressful. Had to slow down speed to make it normal.

Didn’t like narrator

The book has a slow start, there is a pile of character building. From 1/2 way the book explodes into action, suspense & plotting.

Another solid book from Glynn Stewart.

Slow start, hard to put down from 1/2 way.

There were plenty of small flaws over the first four books, details would change characters would be described with contradicting adjectives things were said that didn't always make sense. but you could work through it. now they've taken one of the most confident characters and turn them into a weeping posing he's doubting everything I understand why the author was going for this but it's poorly executed and it makes it feel like he's a completely different character.

On top of those breaks, the choice to change your narrator after four books (maybe they weren't able to get the previous narrator). They should have looked into finding somebody that was at least going to be very similar in tone and tempo.

The quality of the writing and the narrative doesn't measure up to the last 4 books.

Not what I expected, the first books of series were very enjoyable. I didn’t even care to finish this book it was so juvenile.

Disappointed!
