This story was so well crafted from beginning to end! I found myself reminiscing about my best friend in high school. I fell in love with her, but she never felt the same and we lost touch. So, this story really hit me close to home. This was my what if - she felt the same years later if we ran into each other again. I’m hoping this becomes a full feature film someday! I would love for this story to hit the big screen. I pictured this like a movie in my head…I was listening to this while in bed and just finished it at 4am. It was that good! I loved this, and I am going to listen to this more than once. Amazing job everyone!

Very immersive

Love the full cast! They did an excellent job conveying the emotions to really bring the reader in. A traditional trope from LGBTQ+ history but it’s done in a great way that is read well by the actors. Great work to all involved! I would love to see a spinoff with the bridesmaids.

Great story and narrators!

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review this quickly, but I had to for Speak Now by Ash Perez.

Within the first 20 minutes, I was already searching for a physical copy to buy, only to realize this story is meant to be experienced exactly as it is, as an audiobook. And honestly, that makes it even better.

The full-cast performance is incredible. Every character feels so vivid, so distinct, and so genuinely alive. It’s not just narration, it’s a full experience. The chemistry, the timing, the emotion, it all pulls you in immediately and doesn’t let go.

What really surprised me is how instantly likable everyone is. You don’t have to warm up to the story. It grabs you right away and makes you care. It’s fun, engaging, and just an absolute joy to listen to.

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about this. If you’re even slightly considering it, just press play. You’ll be hooked almost immediately.

This book was such a great read—I honestly didn’t want it to end. The story felt so relatable, like pieces of it reflected real life in a way that made it easy to connect with the characters. On top of that, it was genuinely funny, not forced humor but the kind that just sneaks up on you and makes you laugh out loud.

What really made it stand out for me was the narration. The actors did an amazing job bringing everything to life. Each voice felt natural and added so much personality, which made the whole experience even more engaging.

It kept me hooked from beginning to end, always leaving me wanting more after each chapter. Definitely one of those books you wish you could experience again for the first time.

The voice work is superb. You can’t help but become invested in how these characters interact and develop. Great writing helps of course. Great collaboration overall.
