Girl power for the win!

Our heroine Birdie takes us on a ride full of colorful characters and strong women, with modern day awarenesses and sensitivities. Loved it!

The clairvoyant emotional capture of characters

Loved the honesty of women’s’ roles portrayed by this author. I didn’t think Stockett could match “The Help” with honest, poignant story telling - wow - she did!

Women made a way out of no way! Encouraging. Resilience in action. They made a plan and made it work!

Great characters! A lot of fun to listen to and some tough parts too, but great ending!

Character development and narration.

Really well written and engrossing book. I really cared about the characters. The narration was one of the best I’ve listened to. Highly recommend.
