This book is phenomenal— Emma Brodie created beautifully complicated characters and weaved them together in a truly unique and compelling way. Julia Whelan brought AJ and Noah to life as only she can do and astonishingly outdid even herself. I laughed, squirmed, cried and panicked right along with the characters thanks to her peerless performance. What a wonderful book!

So different

First of all - perfect narration! She is one of the best in the business. Second - I am not a sci-fi gal and don’t really get the craziness that their fan base is often characterized by. So sometimes during the book when they were referencing the shows, I found myself uninterested in the plot. However, the storyline itself is great. I loved the ending!

All over the place

What was this story? Comic-Con, high school musical, terms of endearment or fifty shades of gray? It was all over the place! I was excited to read (listen) to this book but it was really hard to follow. It was almost 3 different “plays” within a love story…at times super steamy? Was that necessary? Overall I like the love story but way too much ancillary side bars throughout.
