Death Mist

Hannah Ahmed Thrillers, Book 3

By: Adam Clayton

Narrated by: Lawrence Miller

A noted scientist dies a gruesome and mysterious death. Discovering why reveals a conspiracy about the deadliest terror weapon in history.

Hannah is shocked when her friend Amy Perry, a noted scientist and bioengineer, shows up at her door—close to death, almost incoherent, and ranting about a deadly mist. Before she can learn more, Amy succumbs to a painful and gruesome death.

The police respond to Hannah’s emergency call. After a suspiciously brief investigation, Amy’s body is taken away with a disturbing lack of information gathered.

The next morning, Hannah finds out no one knows where Amy’s body has been taken. There is no record of a body being delivered to the morgue, and she discovers the officers who came to her flat were imposters. Hannah’s investigative senses are immediately triggered.

The search for the body leads to the discovery of Amy’s life’s work: fusing nanotechnology and biomedical engineering. This groundbreaking research aspires to create an entirely new method for non-surgical medical treatments.

But Amy’s work has been stolen and altered to create a deadly bioweapon that is undetectable and universally lethal.

Hannah must stop the deployment of this frightening weapon, one with the potential to be the deadliest terror weapon in history. The cost of failure is horrifying; yet success will come at a great personal cost.
