Community matters

Still a heart-warming and interesting series, where friendship, being supportive, building a community family--all matter significantly. I love the skill development, especially tea (and shoes). The monster invasion segment bored me and I was less attentive. But then the story improved a great deal and I loved to see how Arthur rethought his focus, with friendly prodding, of course. Great escape reading.

Arthur and his friends have built a very nice little town. With all of his friends here, he could not ask for more. Well, maybe more warrior types, like Karbo. Especially since there is a monster wave due to pass through this area soon. If they can’t figure out a way to defend Coldbrook, it will be leveled.

This is such a great cozy Isekai litrpg series! Even when there is impending disaster, it doesn’t kill the cozy vibe. The characters are all fantastic and it honestly just sounds like a nice place to live. Marlon Dance-Hooi does a great job with the narration!

Love this series

I read the first 3 books in the series on Kindle, but needed to be able to listen to book 4. The narrator did a great job bringing our favorite characters to life. I already bought book 5.

This story brings me continuous joy. I wish our world were this way. Please don’t stop.
