I got over Ezra a long time ago. It was easy with us living two thousand miles apart. I sent him away the day I learned of Dad's illness. I wouldn't let my family issues stop him from getting out of this town and away from his father.

Out of the blue, he's back, hired by my traitor friend and boss to design the bistro on our Christmas tree farm. The bistro I've been waiting ten long years to run.

Yep, irony has decided to punch me in the gut and laugh. Again.

My epic plan—ignore the man. I'm trying. However, his new muscles and facial hair are stirring up feelings and making my ignoring efforts problematic.

I have to figure out how to sweep those feelings under the rug. Because we have the same problem today that we had ten years ago.

Ten years ago, I held the gold medal for kissing Autumn Green. But that was another life. One that included an absent mother and an alcoholic father.

And of course, Autumn.

The thing is, back then, I'd take all the bad if it meant I got Autumn. I'd give up all my other dreams because she was the ultimate dream.

Until the day she tossed my heart into a food processor, chopping it into a million tiny pieces, and leaving it on her doorstep for the birds to peck at.

I'm only back in Wyoming, back in our hometown, because if I want to eat, I need a job. And I like eating. So, I'll help Autumn design her bistro for the Christmas Tree farm but that's it. Because I am not here for the girl.

At least that's what I keep telling myself.

Falling for Autumn Again is a closed-door, dual POV, laugh-out-loud romcom filled with witty banter, steamy chemistry, and heart-warming moments. It deals with matters of alcohol abuse, cancer, and the loss of a parent while still being light, funny, and uplifting. And of course, it is a happily-ever-after listen!

I will listen to this over and over! So good!!!

I had already read this but loved it so so much I couldn’t wait to listen to it and fall in love with it all over again. It did not disappoint!! The story is so sweet and full of emotion and healing and happiness and of course, Jen Atkinson always brings the swoon! I loved it!

A Wonderful Second Chance Story!

What a sweet second chance story! It was hard to see how angry Autumn was toward Ezra for the first portion of the story. Even though she was the one to break his heart and send him away, her decision ten years earlier also broke her own heart. Her resentment built over all of those years and bubbled over upon his return.

Ezra didn't understand why she was so angry with him at first. And he quickly realized that he had never stopped loving Autumn. I loved the way he fought for her and all of the ways he worked to show her that he cared and was all in for her.

There were plenty of fun moments to balance out the sad and difficult times. And there were also lots of wonderfully swoony moments as these two began to realize that they were both still completely in love with each other.

I listened to the audio book and thoroughly enjoyed the dual narration.

Just not believable for me

I really, really did not like the MFC in this one. Like…she was the one who lied to him and then she’s all mean to him when he comes back?? For most of the book? It came across as very child like behavior. This one was just ‘eh’ for me. It was hard to finish. Which was disappointing after the first book of the series which I loved. The MFC in that one also started out kind of mean, but it was more believable since she seemed to be neurodivergent, and many of my neurodivergent people really do have a pretty low tolerance threshold and tend to be pretty snarky. 😆
