Everything 😭

I normally don’t write out reviews but this is the second series I’ve started from Jagger Cole and I’m hooked. Plot twist? ✔️ Narration? ✔️ Romance/Steam/emotional roller coaster? ✔️✔️✔️ But this one made me cry at one point 😭

Ken o & Annika

Man I love these intertwined series! I think Jagger Cole has become my favorite author. It’s been several months since I finished the last series tying to the Crown & Black law firm and I hate that I waited to read / listen to this book.
IT IS FANTASTIC!!!! The banter between Annika & Kenzo had me cracking up. But also, early on, Kenzo pissed me off, namely on the plane. I love strong & resourceful FMCs & Annika is a badass! All of the females in these books are. The narration was fantastic.

Wow that was dark and spicy

If you’re seeking a dark Mafia romance that’s incredibly spicy and delves into some serious kinks, this book is your perfect choice. It’s a well-crafted story that combines plot, angst, humor, and an enemies-to-lovers dynamic. The male lead, morally ambiguous yet compassionate, and the female lead, a formidable and badass character, make for an engaging read. Overall, this book was a delightful and enjoyable experience.

Jagger Cole is addicting!

Annika and Kenzo were both characters that were teased in past books so seeing their explosive story come to life was so rewarding! After meeting Kenzo in Fumi's story, I knew this was the seed for an entire new avenue of stories for the Jagger Cole world and Annika was too juicy of a character in the last book not to explore her story in detail.
When Annika finds out that she is being betrothed to Kenzo, the head of the Yakuza to stop an all-out war from ensuing, no one but them are aware of how precarious their coupling is because of their past. Kenzo hates Annika for tricking, drugging, and then robbing him of a priceless family heirloom and Annika knows it. They are forced into not only an arranged marriage but one bonded by a blood oath meaning they can never break it under penalty of death. But when an assassination attempt is made on them more than once, finding the culprit turns out to be harder than they expected. And with Annika keeping secrets about her past, breaking down to the core of each other is harder than they ever could've imagined. The more they spend time together, the more they build a mutual respect that turns into more and when all of her secrets are finally revealed, they both have to battle her past coming to take their future away from them.
Another incredible, well-written explosive story from Jagger Cole that is sure to set the bar high fir this entire series!

So stinking good

This story is so stinking good! Annika and Kenzo are literally a dream comes true. The big Brody, my boss ends up falling in love with the sneaky mafia Princess Turn St., Urgent turned master thief! Like this story is so amazing! The spice is great. The drum is great. I just truly love this story.
