Luke Dellar, age twelve, is weary of his flip-flop life. He flies to his father's house in San Diego one month and back to his mother's house in Seattle the next. He's even more tired of taking pills for his ADHD that has worsened since his parent's divorce. A solution to his flip-flopping, pill-popping life? Run away and hike the Pacific Crest Trail, a 2650 mile, five-month journey from the Mexican border to the Canadian border. Action & Adventure

I have never been more happy and surprised as when I serendipitously stumbled upon this book. So full of adventure and heartwarming moments. A true inspiration for all ages. Can’t not wait to read or listen to Luca’s adventures on the AT and CD trails!

Enthralling and Exhilarating

Entertaining story but harder to listen and enjoy without voice inflection and with mispronounced nonhuman words.

Poor AI narration

The author must have read some blog posts about the PCT, but otherwise seems ignorant of the actual geography of the trail, as well as the culture of thru-hiking. At first I thought the author was just making an occasional mistake, but as the book progressed it became clear that the author didn't care much about the landscape as the errors go beyond the posisbility of honest mistakes. Since the story is fictional, it could be forgiven if the main character was interesting, but it's hard to take an interest in this selfish, self-absorbed character.

Fictional, fantastical, and misleading account

Terrible. Story is not believable and repetitive in places. AI narration awkward and off putting.

Fake
